At some point in the article they mention that an alternative to the proof of work could be to use the proof of stake: the oldest stake build the next block. Did I understand correctly? How can that work? Doesn't it create multiple problems to do that?
Google Authenticator, the one time password (OTP) app made by Google, is storing data locally on the device. To my knowledge it has no link with your phone number.

I've just had my keyboard serviced a couple weeks ago because of the sticky keys issue.
So I reluctantly bought a keypad cover. I normally hate covers. But weirdly I like this one; it's very thin, perfectly adjusted and it almost improves the touch. And it's almost invisible. I really like it and it makes me feel way safer.
