The problem: very few people actually believe in cryptocurrency, most are looking for a quick buck instead.

Why is that a problem? The ecosystem needs technologist and "market makers" (including individual traders in this) to function.

I think everybody has their own breaking points but mine was today. If I hadn't of spent so much of my life here I probably would have just left and been done with it.

Underfunding leads to underperformance which leads to perceptions of incompetence which leads to underfunding.

Incompetence leads to underfunding. If they would get their shit together I would be fine with funding them (obv not for regulating the crypto market but just in general).

If we want to address significant negative externalities that have remain unaddressed for over a decade maybe we should look into how many people we bomb on a frequent basis. Or healthcare. Or corruption in politics. Or our crumbling society.

As someone who also struggled with depression from an early age, taking mushrooms cured it.

I haven't taken them in over a decade and I did get in a funk during the pandemic, but the difference between the day before taking mushrooms and the days after are like night and day.

Flash loans are only executed if the entire transaction is valid monetarily. A transaction on Ethereum is like a database, if there are any issues it's rolled back.

Then it's going to stay alive. Look at Uniswap, Sushiswap, 1inch.

That's not outlawing. Also, you can't stop individuals from using this short of having a totalitarian government.

While being able to use exchanges in the US is helpful, it isn't necessary. It might curb short term adoption, but it doesn't stop the inevitable, which is crypto completely taking over the world.

It's in the US's best interest to embrace it.
