How does one living on the island stay safe from the air borne fibers?

Is this article satire? It does not offer any bounds to imagination nor scope creep. Seems like a good way to justify writing code that doesn’t help achieve immediate (or even foreseeable) goals.

In SF, Waymo/Cruise/etc have safety drivers behind the wheel who are being paid to ensure the car doesn't crash. Tesla drivers, on the other hand, are often misled about the capabilities of "FSD" and may not be paying as close attention.

A nice short piece with a simple thesis. Should be easy enough for intelligent or ordinary people to understand.

I think it all depends on how searchable and generally well-maintained the codebase is. Having some obscure critical function hidden in a monolith is totally possible too.

Their cloud-based Notes App is simply killer. Sure, it’s a simple app but I have had a flawless experience on it.

Photos is pretty great too, but I’m not sure how it compares to other photo services.
