I guess we will have to wait for some Kickstarter project for the next "Tie Fighter" or "X-Wing" game. I don't know if it was because I was a kid but those are games bring back very fond memories.

I am surprised that they are moving towards git and not Mercurial. Isn't Microsoft a sponsor of Mercurial? Perhaps this is because hg already has very good tools for Windows. I suppose I am just a little confused as to why git gets more attention than hg.

I hope that some of this increase in price is used to support Package Control from wbond. Certainly Package Control has contributed to the usefulness of Sublime.

Myself having registered less than a year ago, thinks this update is a little premature. Users in the official forums have been worried for months that development had stalled and all of the sudden an announcement of a paid update for seemingly incremental features? Are we to expect a beta period similar to ST2 or will be be expected to pay for what seems should be a minor release? I for one expected at least 2 years of support for my ST2 purchase. Coupled with the increase in price (which now compares to JetBrains IDEs) I see much fewer reasons to upgrade and/or recommend this to others.

This makes me think twice about the F-150 I am about to purchase.

It appears that the software is well received but my question is where are the handsets? I am looking forward to seeing Nokia's offerings as the LG and HTC phones have not been very appealing.

Why would they start another production run for a discontinued product sold at a loss? Am I missing something or will HP come out next week and say "Surprise! Here is a great new update for the Touchpad" and start selling them for $200?

Having location services enabled and recording location history are two completely different things. A am very surprised more people are not concerned about this. Wonder if Microsoft or Google is doing the same thing on their phones.

I started using Syncplicity. The reliability of the service was very poor in the beginning (I remember a week long down time) and I seem to remember some issues getting a computer to Sync again when it is reformatted and given the same computer name. The issues were enough to move me to Sugar Sync where I was a paying customer for 12 months. Their service was satisfactory but they removed my plan (10Gb for $25) from their offerings. I moved to Dropbox where I have 6gb for free. Not sure how Dropbox is making money (all the people I know and have referred are free users) but I will enjoy it while it lasts. Certainly Dropbox is providing the best service of the three.

Is there even a decent Windows shell extension for git yet? When using Windows and teams not already familiar with git, Mercurial + TortoiseHG was an easy choice.

I've spent more money through Envato sites (Themeforest specifically) than any other web site except for Ebay. I am glad to pay for the quality products they provide (through the designers of course). Keep up the good work.

I used to be a Bitbucket customer but moved to repositoryhosting.com a few months ago. This is great news as I will likely return to Bitbucket. I stopped using the service this year because I needed many small repos (<15mb) and didn't want to pay upwards of $20-30 per month. Repositoryhosting.com offers unlimited repositories for $6 flat per month. If you require additional space you pay for that.

I really don't get the pricing plans for companies like Bitbucket and Github. $5-10 per month for personal projects is fine but up past that? Do these companies think for single user accounts all these repositories are active at once? How much more does it cost Github to store an additional repository for me (not to even mention gists which are stored as repos) because they are charging $1 per month to backup a few mbs. I would love to know the average repo size.

I guess it's too much to ask that Google give up Eclipse and start supporting the Oracle owned Netbeans instead.
