with property graphs, as compared to RDF, wouldnt the internals of nodes (properties) not be considered actually a part of the graph itself (or atleast not first class)?

this doesn't make any sense though, your write up starts with an assumption that multiple records in the dataset are "obviously" the same entity ... so we wouldn't even need entity resolution then ...
"entity resolution" as a process should moreso imply how to determine whether two records that aren't obviously the same entity are actually the same entity ... and how you would go about discovering and proving and declaring that ...
what you describe is still an actual supply chain issue though, you are merely elaborating on a possible cause for particular supply chain issues .

Hypermedia (HATEOAS, REST, etc) is graph thinking as well. “endpoints” is not synonymous with “REST”, it is merely an address (likely paired with an expectation (or affordance).
Would love to see similar for corporate side of learning and development, rather than just academic side.
there is a linguistic research called "usage based" and also "emergent grammar" that i find interesting regarding subjects like this:
1. meaning is usage. 2. structure emerges from usage.
meaning we don't use grammar to produce language, it is an emergent property (irreducible) of "pre-linguistic pragmatics" ...
this post and many of the comments here don't necessarily have a "semiotic" or "usage-based language acquisition" or "emergent-grammar" nature about them ...

1. meaning is structure. 2. usage emerges from structure.
what i mean by this is that the "analysis" of the text doesn't exist in the same "world" as the text.
meaning that its nothing like "real" (natural) language.
what i mean further by this is simple:
humans don't "use" natural language... it is an emergent property of other systems of externalized behaviors and such by individual humans.
and such emergent properties and systems are also evident in any development of this actual system and many of the comments here.
producing the comprehension introduces in-comprehensible things ... or at best just divorces systems (discontinuous) ... at which point any thing can be any thing, so debating it as such here doesn't even matter (value) .
im not exactly sure what im saying here but it is akin to:

it is the new open standard for learning, training, and experience, etc... backed by the DoD and ADL to replace SCORM (previous standard used by things like Blackboard and MOODLE and LMSs 'learning management systems').

This is an interesting variation of a semiotic commutation test, although while not honoring emergent grammar (Paul hopper) as much as I do.
I preordered Macaw and intend on trying it out... I also own and use Adobe Edge Animate and Sublime Text, etc...
Can someone offer a distinction between tooling such as Text Editors, such as Macaw, such as Dreamweaver, such as Edge Animate that actually makes sense per people's arguments and each company's prospective use cases?
Many people are arguing that Macaw would be great for prototyping but that the code generated is not production ready, but I would argue that Adobe Edge Animate by that logic would offer an even better prototyping environment, but have not heard people go gaga over it for such purpose like they have Macaw.
If people do argue that code generated by Macaw is production ready (in some form), then why would Adobe Edge Animate not also be production ready... for same purpose?
great find for me! i am in design/dev for the learning and development industry, so naturally many teams have strong backgrounds in Flash, and lately Adobe Edge Animate and Tumult Hype (even Google has thrown something into the ring). Literally the only thing I did to determine whether I would investigate Animatron further was opening it up and dropping some audio into the project, and seeing whether the waveform shows up on the timeline layer. This is a MUST regarding WYSIWYG sync of animation to audio... its what Flash IDE had that Edge and Hype still do not! The next thing is determining the workflow for integrating with eLearning standards such as SCORM and TinCanAPI / Experience API... naturally this is the type of product I would also pay premium to integrate further into my team and client's workflow for Instructional Design, etc...
