What I'd like improved about Mixpanel:

* lower pricing (love the free tier, and until now I had just one client went beyond it and afforded to upgrade)

* be able to send notifications on events. I got sick of the excuse that "you've actually come across a really important characteristic of Mixpanel's data structure. People & Events both apply to users' distinct IDs, and sometimes appear to be working in tandem (e.g., people profile activity feeds), but the two sections of analytics actually live in two completely distinct data stores"

* do simple enhancements / bugfixes. I've sent suggestions to support, they said Yes, great, and nothing happened. Gave up. Examples: prefill notify me test email with current user's email address; fix properties in live view which are filled with custom links -- mixpanel will open those relative to report, instead of new window.

Sorry/surprised to see the Metrics feature is enabled only for applications with more than one running dyno.

My biggest question remains "When should I enable a 2nd dyno for my app?" Even better, I'd like to say to Heroku "when this app is overwhelmed, enabled at most X dyno(s), and turn them off as activity decreases".

I've been using Fedora since... RedHat 4.2. The drop that filled the glass last week (using a nightly compose) was the new gnome3 behavior when coming back from turned off monitor to save power. Even though I disabled lock/screen saver/password, rather than just letting me continue where I was now I have to "slide" with my mouse the screen.

So I switched to Ubuntu. My first ever Ubuntu install. When asking about local time, it recognized the city where I was. Because, gee, I'm connected to the network. I learned how to use apt* stuff instead of yum&rpm, and I don't miss Fedora.

Question for designers: how do you share your designs with clients/team, in order to explore both design & workflows? (this would be at Photoshop stage, no coding started yet. An example: the series of Instanote mockups from the article)

Do you do this as a series of images in any order, or do you use some tool such as Invision, to build interactive prototypes?

And if an app has to be started in advance, still don't see how the proposed solution is easier than QR codes, where an app has to be started in advance too.

And this is what gives Amazon a great advantage vs. other device makers. Apple gets some revenue too from their Store, Google some less, and that's it.

I don't see how other tablet makers have a chance to compete. And I would expect top of the line Kindle to be $50 actually (give away the razor sell the blades...), and others free with any digital content purchase larger than $250.
