Germany here, never heard of any issues regarding underground power (or phone) lines. Ultra High voltage (distribution network) is above ground here, but no issued with that either.

I remember my Star LC-10 had multiple fonts with different widths. There was regular, condensed, wide and NLQ (Near Letter Quality). The latter looked like it had been written on a typewriter.

It’s not only that API access is hard, it’s also they don’t listen tot the community.

Example: It’s not possible to filter for workouts without gear. Sometimes I forget to add my bike or a pair of shoes, so such a filter would be helpful.

It would be very easy for them to add add that filter to the app and / or connect website.

But without a community manager, there’s no engagement possible.

Imagine they had a public tracker where people could request features. They could review them and use that knowledge to build better stuff, making more money.

Everything at home is OSS, I switched to OSS everywhere in 2000. I love reading these news, gives me a chuckle.

At work, everything is Microsoft, Copilot 365 and everything. Gives me a headache using it. And a chuckle seeing IT struggle with disgruntled users…
