Correct and exactly how it is supposed to work. What do you expect a business owner to do when the job of a worker is not profitable / necessary any more? Pay him forever out of their own pocket, taking a loss? If you've ever hired qualified personnel, you know how hard it is to find good people. No good business owner would fire a good employee for a whim. They'd keep them as long as possible (even when temporarily there's no work)

Other thing is if it's easy to re-hire when there is profitable work again. This happens where there's much more offer (of workers) than demand. For example jobs with low cualification.

So, get rid of manipulating the money supply and economy and the rest will sort itself out.

You don't seem to understand bitcoin. You're talking about cashing out. Why would anyone cash out from bitcoin? Ok, you get some dollars. What do you do with them? They lose >10% yearly, whereas BTC has gained >200% yearly over the past 10 years.

Instead you hold it. And if you need money you borrow against it.

Likely the poorer people won't be able to save & hold much bitcoin at least in the beginning. But the government can keep their reserves (and pension funds for example) in BTC and thus benefit everybody.

Ruby to me seems to follow this description rather well. The "cells" in close vicinity are the objects in ancestor chain. If the "closest cell" - object's class - can't respond to it, next further, which is its parent, will be given chance and so on. Also you can ask object if they know how to respond with `respond_to?`

They've played this thinness and flashy lights game too much too long. My new Lenovo T480S (24GB DDR4, is coming next week :) Sweet Linux with i3 tiled window manager. All the ports & productivity I can ask for.

I'm currently doing the same. The 2 I have my eye on are Lenovo X1 Carbon and T480s. Reason for change: frustration with Apple's loss of quality in both software and hardware AND malicious practices. Just watch couple videos from Louis Rossmann and you'll get the idea.

What I'm doing to smoothen the transition is that I started doing my personal coding in VM (VMWare Fusion), full-screening ElementaryOS. That is to get everything set up and more into muscle-memory. Client work will still be done on MBP.

Then I'll switch my desktop over to Linux (hackintosh). After that laptop.
