Totally unrelated to this topic but what an interesting username choice.

I've never heard of this product before, but it definitely does sound interesting. I know exactly how hard it is to get a small / medium sized company to switch to a new product, its definitely not easy.
That aside, I wish Slack was more customizable (or open to allowing some customization) that would enable it to function more like what Derrick was trying to accomplish with Level. That would be the best of both worlds.
I find this fascinating I wonder if I some altered form of this where I can visualize most things but they are never accurate depictions always deformed in some way.
amazing indeed, what a great read, and inspiration to go build something...
That sounds interesting, source?
what is the intended use case for this?
Expo is excellent for developing in RN. The best thing is being able to send the app to other users without needing to install anything outside of the expo app. I just started digging into flutter last week so I don’t have a an opinion yet.
This type of statement is highly infuriating. This has no bearing on the fact that the original prosecution withheld evidence and he was not the shooter in this case.
You ask me not to assume, but yet you made a huge assumption in that he loved his job, presumptuous much?
You likely did not read the article... there is nothing in it that would imply he loved his job. He stayed at his job because of complacency and security. Not because he loved bussing tables.
I was not aware of all the CEO troubles, makes sense then, on that front.
Curious why they are changing CEOs if they want to continue the culture and community.
Agree with everything here. I’ve never been a CTO but have been the only other dev working alongside a CTO and you will wind up doing many non-technical as needed for the business. Laying a good groundwork for future employees and making a best effort in every task is the best thing to do.
I was going to say the exact same thing... it probably hastened my ride to baldness.
Using GH issues for a blog doesn't seem like it could really work for most people. While you can get comments and discussions which is cool, GH isn't a great way to read long form content IMO. Plus if you want any time of analytics how can you find views/reads/etc. On side note you're current tutorial looks very neat, I've never used LUA so I'm going to try and follow along.
They discuss is briefly but my understanding is the copyright only protects the work itself. IE the movie steamboat willie could now be freely published by anyone with access to it? But Disney will still own the trademark and be the only entity that can produce new original Mickey Mouse content?
I have been wat hung football since i was kid but like you the past couple of years it has become harder to justify watching these big hits and traumatic injuries knowing the damage it is doing to players when they get older.
This would be a game changer and potentially life saving for hundreds of athletes in all contact sports but mostly American football. I they can find the funding they need to further their research.
Sounds like a pump and dump scheme.
This is something I have been wanting for a while a note taking app with a terminal app and syncing... unfortunately installing all these tools from an unknown source makes me a bit leery.
Yes that caught my attention too, possible scam?
if you have 17TB of data. Where is the best place to back up that much data? Other then redundant back up drives... Is there a suitable cloud solution for this? If not is there enough demand to build one? I dont own that much data. I cant imagine having to keep track of that much data, I hate having more than 1 TB of data to keep track of.
Yes. I would strongly recommending using something like hired. It's dead simple takes maybe 20 mins to sign up. Then once they approve you, you'll get a few inquiries from companies and if you're not interested you lose nothing and if something interesting comes along then you've got your out it should take a few weeks and you should know whether or not you want to stay with SC by then.
Can't Elon just dig a tunnel for them at half the price.
This is set similar to an idea I had been working on recently nice
Very click baity headline. Good article none the less.
We are the same age and have about the same length of experience.
I totally get where you are coming from because I began to feel I wasn't learning anything new and just repeating the same processes. So I left after 3 1/2 years.
Since then every job I've had I try to work for people I can learn from and grow.
Having people who can mentor or just being around smart people and seeing how they work and implement processes can be really helpful.
I've been hearing this targeted audience and advertising for several years. However for as long as I've been watching Hulu, YouTube etc I rarely see ads that interest me. I wish they used that data better.
Most likely open a new account, or tweet from another account.
Then we get to debate what is constitutes as a social media acct? Any forum, any public comment board? Or what is more traditionally called social media, Reddit/Facebook/Instagram/Snapchat/Twitter and the like? Is email social media?
