I have uBlock installed, and it blocks these kinds of requests. However every request returns an error and they enter a constant request loop, causing the LinkedIn tab to slow down as the errors pile up after few minutes. Attached a screenshot [0] from DevTools.

KDE developers have always been great with their vision. I guess they will try to create OS Shell that sync users data between different OS? Their applications cover 99% of the casual users, with KDE Connect [0].

KDE Plasma has never clicked with me but KDE applications have always been my choice in a Linux system because of their responsiveness.

Dolphin for Windows[1] also exists but has some issues.

I had tried manually delete post/comments before shreddit, half of the deleted post/comments returned after refreshing the page. Checking the requests, many of them would return 500 status code.

Later move to shreddit and created a cronjob to delete the entries, and kept shreddit running a week or so. As you suggested, you will hit Reddit's rate limit soon after start mass deleting or your account shadow-banned.

Just checked two of my deleted account, can't see any post or comment. I wish I didn't delete it, just overwrite them with random sentences from local AI

Heard from inside Unity that the blog post was reviewed for weeks and internal concerns about poor / confusing messaging, Game Pass, etc, were all ignored. It's resignation time for some folks.[1]

Almost all the info listed on these websites coming from twitter.

It is actually Amazon's Lumberyard, which was also CryEngine fork.

It has built-in support to block Windows Services/Apps/Updates without user interaction.

I don't know how people think Firefox has feature-rich bookmark manager, probably never used a browser that cares about power-users. Firefox can't even open Bookmark manager in a new tab, whole bookmark feature hasn't improved in 15 years.

Vivaldi has the best bookmark management in UX/UI.

Right click on a tab > Bookmark all tabs. Vivaldi creates a new folder "Saved Tabs ($time$)". Press F2 to open quick commands and write "Saved" and it will auto complete all the folder starts with "Saved"

You can create Session for currently opened tabs too.

I don't trust these tools as any Windows Update can override the setting, or Microsoft can add a new "feature" and continue collecting telemetry data from that. For example; Disk Space Cleanup (cleanmgr.exe) tool has been trying to connect to internet since last year's Windows 20H2 updates. I use Binisoft's Windows Firewall Control (wfc)[0], set level to Moderate and check logs regularly. There is also simplewall tool [1] which has predefined Windows list to block.

Even if you disable geolocation, Google can learn your location via Wifi/Access points nearby easily. It should be easy to cross references you (geolocation disabled) and others (one of them enabled geolocation) in the same network for Google.

Google retains a detailed map of known Wi-Fi networks and access points. By knowing the exact location of these networks, and your proximity to them, its location services can gauge your location with roughly 30 feet of accuracy. [0]

I remember one Unity developer was talking about how Package Manager will enable them to deliver smaller install/download size on top of easy to update core functionality. This was like 2-3 years ago. Unity 2017 for Win64 download size is around 500MB today, Unity 2020 with Package Manager is 1.7GB

Ads only one of the reasons. Reddit also updated Reddit Coins [0] with their new design. With this new "in-app" economy, you can use real money to buy reddit coins and give an award to post. Another revenue stream for reddit.

There is also Turkish government funded Pardus project [0] and has been going on since 2005. Numerous government institutions started to use it but still not enough to ditch Windows.

I only use old.reddit.com since I hate the new design and https://old.reddit.com/vault redirects me to some random post.

Twitter and Youtube occasionally blocked in Turkey for years. They have found their solution in region-locking the contents after court orders. This may not be feasible to small hosting companies though. For youtube and twitter, implementing that control system was the only option to access the Turkey's market.

All Google services are down in Eastern Europe and Turkey. Cloud Status page also not accessible.
