thanks for the ux feedback, will ship a better version soon. by the way, there is a fullscreen model which the drag-and-drop experience might feel better
duckdb is super fast for analytic tasks, especially when u use it with visual eda tool like pygwalker. it allows u handles millions of data visuals and eda in seconds.
but i would say, comparing duckdb and sqlite is a little bit unfair, i would still use sqlite to build system in most of cases, but duckdb only for analytic. you can hardly make a smooth deployment if you apps contains duckdb on a lot of platform
I am building a jupyter native code agent that interact with jupyter kernel better and can understand data, charts, etc. Not just read/edit jupyter files.
everytime i search content about supabase, some trash ai generated content website like restack shows and waste my time. I am not saying restack is bad, but a customizable blocker to block the site for specific topic might be good for me.
All our projects for data analytic and visualization are based on vega/vega-lite, really impressive by vega's signals design when i learned it first time(it's like rxjs, which i also love).
Seems a lit samiliar to redash, writing sql to build dashboards. or using pygwalker + streamlit for more customization. https://docs.kanaries.net/pygwalker
Just come here and share my real thoughts as a potential customer.
Bought the tailwind components before, The reason that drives me to buy it is because they can really help me build landing page, and pricing page really fast.
The components in code snaps is limited and not too much fancy and complete templates, which I can hardly find reason for purchasing.
You can have a look at graphic-walker behind pygwalker, which provides more API to interact. graphic-walker is a react component and pygwalker is the python binding of it.
pygwalker is actually a python binding of graphic-walker, which can be embedded in any environment: A R binding of graphic-walker, a plugin of graphic-walker in excel, etc.
