I'd give it a try. I disabled the Rewards button and everything else that I don't like and it has been working great for me.

Yup you can, just need to make an installer drive. There's a tool for macOS that does this for you.

How much do you believe Whatsapp and Facebook is connected in the backend? Any info on this specifically, especially since theres rumors stirring up that Whatsapp, Facebook, and Instagram are going to come together very soon. I mean your friends and family did choose an encrypted service over an uncrypted one. Better something than nothing no?
I love doing this occasionally, its just really interesting seeing the internal tools.
Is there any videos/screenshots of PurpleRestore and similar tools? I've searched and can only find a single picture and descriptions.
