this means sharing your 3D likeness with some sketchy American business who pinky promises to delete said data after. I don’t want random American tech companies to have my kids’ biometric info like that, able to sell it to whoever asks. Nor my passport or anything like that.

Actually the market leader app for scanning faces and documents is an Israeli company. They encourage to use mobile for scanning, for your convenience. They promise they delete the data. Yeah, if they're lying you can sue them in Israel.

I don't think cars have ever been so unexciting. As long as regulations were improving security it was fine, but in recent years they only push for more control and surveillance. Still despite the byzantine regulations they failed to address e.g. the obnoxious blinding headlights.

Then yeah, rich boomers from rich EU countries are leaving scorched earth to everyone except their immediate family.

Of course the shit hit the fan: Russia attacked Ukraine and everything turned to shit.

When Russia attacked Ukraine in 2014 absolutely nothing happened. Covid showed that Europe is eating boogers with their pants down, so both Trump and Putin decided to go on the rampage.

Poles are trying to divert attention from catastrophic state of healthcare in their country:) The system is on speedrun to clone the American one. Medical doctors earn the highest salaries in Europe, while patients are receiving one of the worst services on the continent. It's as if they wanted to annihilate the lower classes of society or something.

Hate speech laws really scare me. They're used every time from a position of power - medical doctors, lawyers, politicians, celebrities, executives, the rich. When someone even points out in public their incompetence, corruption, cronyism or something even worse.

When regular person attempts to refer the hate speech, stalking, or bullying the police tells them to beat it and file a civic lawsuit.

They got millennials from post-Communist countries after all transition periods for new EU members have passed sometime around 2011. Were already lucky because they didn't open the market straight away in 2004 like Ireland, UK, and Sweden. Germans were overconfident because their largest demographic boom was in their 40s back then.

Treated that immigration wave like shit. They left.

Germans worked really hard for every single nasty thing which is about to happen to them.
