I was pleased to discover recently that Microsoft PowerToys are a thing again and include a Keyboard Manager utility. It's really simple to use and works flawlessly.

It's nice to use an "official" product to remap the ctrl / cmd keys on my Apple keyboard while using my Windows PC.

We’re having such a drive in the UK, and my wife is working on the project. It’s called 100,000 genomes and aims to sequence the whole genome of 70,000 patients with rare disease or cancer (the other 30,000 genomes are from tumors), and their families. The ethics of consent and the possibility of incidental findings are all being taken into account.

Looks cool. Spotted a bug.. clicking the link in the sentence.. "Crawling http://www.example.com..." doesn't work.

Actually no. The more pixels the screen has the more energy it requires to drive those pixels and so worse battery life. So by having a lower resolution screen and scaling down to fit that screen battery life is improved.

The second seems to confirm this being web based.

I think it's interesting Yahoo are attempting to address this with their News Digest app, following their acquisition of Summly. Founder Nick D'Aloisio said in a recent interview (can't find the link right now) that development of News Digest was lead by the idea that a physical newspaper or magazine has a very clear beginning and end, and that by reaching the end the reader could feel satisfaction.
