You're not worried your whole genome is being sent over to some commercial entity?

"Bluetooth does not work," Kravitz said in a recent interview, and it's not just headphones, but Bluetooth connections in general. "It's ruining important moments. Imagine the amount of times that you're with someone on a date, you're trying to set a vibe, and then you have to forget the network. On a date!"

The quote above makes absolutely zero sense to me, it's like ChatGPT 0.3a decided to write something about Bluetooth.

I run Claude in a Proxmox VM, generally the experience has been great. In my experience it also behaves better than gemini cli, that likes to create files all over the place if set loose (lesson learned to add that requirement to the relevant .md files)

In Belgium, our Minister of Defence talks about buying services from Palantir, and wants to let Oracle build a cloud for the Defence department. He even dares to say that this will result in our own Sovereign Data Streams [1]. I can imagine this is a guy that will have not a single issue sharing the requested data with the US Government, even in the face of the recent hostility of the US towards the EU.

On the pictures, the sound proofing of the ceiling caught fire quite quickly, my gut feeling is that a lot of tragedies like this could be avoided by having more strict regulations on the fireproofness of the used materials.

I'm "fearful" of a future where every random appliance needs to be connected to the internet in order to function at all. I hope some legislation gets passed (in the EU in my case) that forces manufacturers to ensure the machine works offline and connecting it is purely an opt-in feature.
