I really like the Chinese approach to space exploration. They go slow but steady and focus on interesting stuff.

In terms of connectivity and living expenses three are more or less equal.

As an Uruguayan I would say that Montevideo is nice, but there is not much natural beauty around, the same for Buenos Aires, but Santiago is in the foot of the Andes, so in that it has more to see.

Also Montevideo is quieter than Buenos Aires but Santiago is much more well organized than both. And the only one that don't have a metro train system, so the public transport consists only on buses that get quite crowded on rush hours.

The issue here is that the internet consist basically in monopolies. Its even more alarming when you consider that many of those monopolies are in the hands of just one company. (Google)

The problem I have with ddg is that their non english and local searches are lacking. Those are the only reasons why I stick with google.

I believe that renewable is the solution, more so now that the price has become viable. My country for example went from being oil dependant to produce energy to be almos 100% renewable in less than 5 years by building hundreds of eolic turbines.

Totally agree. As a citizen of a not (so) developed country I saw all this complains as hypocritical thinking from the developed nations that for centuries did the same but now that the rest of the world tries to catch up start crying.

A refubrished computer can be of two types:

It was used as an exposition device in a store, so it's "new" but with some wear of being turned on all day, etc. When is removed from display it is checked and if everything works fine it is put on sale.

Or it's a returned device that had some faulty component that has been replaced.

The advantages compared with an used device is that refubrished are more or less "new" and have warranty.

I agree, I think that an online course on its own is not enought to really learn a language, I view them more as a vocabulary and grammar source.

The context or everyday interactions have to be learned in some other place like forums, conversations, movies, etc
