Where are these £40k junior jobs? I've been in a junior position in London for 2 years earning mid £20k's and have been interviewing at other places for months, but the best offer I can find is £32k.
Everyone I've talked to about it is in a similar ballpark.
1.5 years experience, full-stack web developer at a startup (Ruby, some Go), earning £25k in Central London. I'm broke and it sucks. I've tried interviewing other places but haven't found anywhere offering above £30k.
Reading these threads, I can only assume that I am a terrible interviewee, or a bad developer. I have 1.5 years Rails / JS experience and currently earn £25k.
What do I have to do to get into the £35-40k bracket? I've had numerous interviews and a couple of offers, but none will move out of the £28-32k range.
