If people in US can be misled by fake news, India stood little chance. Facebook and WhatsApp have been used effectively to brainwash the general public in India.

Lots of different analytics solutions suited for different scenarios mentioned in your list. Each one serves a different need even though there is some degree of overlap between them. You need to answer questions about your business to figure out which tools you should be using - Are you guys in the enterprise or consumer space? How do you market your startup's products? Do you use Email Marketing? Do you use Social Media to promote your startup or its products? What are the metrics you should be measuring to understand if your business is growing? Answer to these questions will determine which analytic solutions you should be using for your startup.

What this kind of scammers don't realize is that internet and subsequent proliferation of social media networks has leveled the playing field to a large extent. So, if people who are being arm-twisted become more vocal about it, it might come back to bite the scammers.

Indian brands are notorious for arm-twisting their customers. I have seen one senior level executive of a major Indian brand claim that in a population of 1 billion, they can afford to piss off a lot of customers and still get new customers to not worry about the churn rate because people don't have many options and customers know that each one of the option suck equally.

Most of the recent VC funded Internet companies that have gone public have never been profitable in their life (which sometimes stretches a decade of existence). For e.g. -

According to a recent WSJ artcile[1], 11 of the 30 tech companies going IPO this year have been in red and 19 reported some profit last quarter.

That is definitely a sign of bubble if we take a cue from the 99-2000 bubble.
