Please level out the mic levels using a program such as levelator (http://www.conversationsnetwork.org/levelator). I was listening to the show with headphones and some of the laughing and the "oh god" at the end really hurt :(

They could run the site on PyPy as opposed to the CPython interpreter. Postgres and Django are well supported.

Previous to PHP5.3 (when namespaces were introduced) most frameworks followed the Zend_Style_Of_Naming (That class would be located in Zend/Style/Of/Naming.php).

All new frameworks that support PHP5.3+ (with the exception of Fuel, it seems) have done away with Zend_Style_Naming and follow direct namespace <-> file mapping.

Seems pretty lazy... it would be trivial to change the autoloader to check a Controller namespace/directory.

Doctrine2 and Lithium took the lead and went 100% namespaces. Other projects such as Symfony2 and Solar2 have followed suit.

Separate projects. Fuel CMS is powered by Code Igniter 2.

Does anyone know why Fuel uses a mixture of Zend_Style class naming and namespaces? For example controllers are prefixed by Controller_ and are in the root namespace while tasks are put in the namespace Fuel\Task with no class prefix.

The http://php.net/oop page is a great start. It lists all "modern features" of PHP. Almost all of which are used to write "great code".

How does this differ to services like http://pinboard.in?

I'm interested to see how many other NZ hackers there are and where you're based.

Design is nice. SSL certificate is fine for me (chrome). On the signup page the 'Sign up now' button is off center (http://www.pastethat.com/CemUT). Although you hint at it with Hulu and Pandora, you may want to add that the servers are located in the USA. In the future you could think about adding a server in the UK, BBC iPlayer has very good content.

People who tweet what they eat. I don't mind the occasional 'those berries were nice' but some people go over the top. The exception to this rule is if they post a picture (twitpic) with it. You could analyze "eat", "lunch", "dinner" keywords.

People who RT everything someone says. For example I follow several web designers and programmers as well as Nettuts. Nettuts just RTs everything the other people tweet. Very annoying.

As other people have mentioned #moonfruit and #squarespace. Very annoying when they do it every single day. (Mayby analyse frequent hashtags in a certain period of time?)

Software vendors (Acer, HP etc..) will most likely install an open source web browser in any shop bought computer.

I've found dropbox (http://getdropbox.com) to be a great tool. It syncs files across Windows, Mac and Linux (GNOME/Nautilus currently) and allows you to access your files online.

Just write a Python/insert lang here script that will copy your config files to their respective places on all operating systems (eg .vimrc).

They were recorded (apparently).
