I think IE 9 is about as far back as I'm willing to go. So I would like to get that working, but you are right, anything older and I should have a warning.

Meteor is awesome, congrats to the Meteor team for their 1.0 release! I've been using Meteor for over a year now, and it is staggering how far it has come. They've addressed and continue to address just about any concerns the community has brought up, from security to speed to tools, etc. And where they haven't, the community has stepped up huge. Seriously, Meteor is amazing, but what makes it even better is the awesome community surrounding it. Congrats again.

As someone on leangains following a Reverse Pyramid Training program after Starting Strength, I agree that this is good general advice.

However, it IS general advice. "Cardio" is loosely defined, and can be anything from steady state (takes a longish time) to intervals (can be VERY quick) and anything in between. I'd be more inclined to say if you like to do it, be it basketball or gardening or running or whatever, then do it because you'll be more likely to stick with it.

I don't really buy the lack of time argument as a reason to not do something you enjoy that has health benefits. I see the argument here though, IF you believe you lack time (which I don't think you should believe) then MVF is a good way to go, but not the only option.

I'd like the ability to pay per view. I don't have a lot of TV channels but like watching sports, why can't I pay for the NBA or NHL finals on a pay per view basis? It is probably something to do with licensing, but if that could be cracked I would be a customer.

Aside from being completely irrelevant compared to them in size, I guess with craigslist you are anonymous and dealing with the other side which is also anonymous, but here that would not be allowed. Both parties are required to have some form of verification.

There is a trust system which encourages users to get more verified and to participate more in the community, which further builds trust. I'd like to continue to add trust cues, such as integration with trustcloud and other services eventually.

tl;dr: trust is important on Rentything and not so much on craigslist.

The back end I am using Yii only because I played with PHP years and years ago. As for as PHP goes, Yii has been a joy to work with, but I am definitely weening myself off of PHP for my next project(s). I use MySQL as the db, and hosting is on AWS (SES, EC2, ELB, S3, and so on).

As for front end. I am using backbone w/ marionette. Very awesome combination but I think I'll move away from backbone going forward. Analytics I use segment.io, payments I'm using Stripe Connect, and Bootstrap as the UI toolkit. I think that's it.

thanks for the feedback and the well wishes. Do you have any suggestions for A/B testing tools? Everything that is on the landing page is deliberate (except the PlaceIt byline, which I hope to replace with a real photo) but haven't been testing landing pages like I should be.

I can imagine having wireless internet everywhere. No need to worry about dead zones. Imagine being lost in the middle of nowhere but having some wireless internet to call for help or guide you out. It would be pretty neat.

I think talking to someone on the phone in English to someone who doesn't speak English, but gets the message in his native tongue in real time would be super awesome (English speaker speaking to someone who hears Japanese and the Japanese speaker speaking back in Japanese but the English speaker hears English).

Since Google is making a huge push for it, and since many of Google's employees' bonuses depend on the success of it, a lot of Google employees are on it.
