My guess is that the rust human error format is derived from some raw format that could easily be propagated to any other UX/UI and right now we are only familiar with the CLI format. I doubt they are keeping the state with a string of "^^^^" rather than just some 'error_starts_at_char: 8' and then some pretty print function prints the ^.

That is already implicitly there - tons of SEO content probably was used to train this model. Information available in the internet since forever.

Most (if not all) of those apps are free though, you supply them as a convenience because you know that smartphone owners spend money. The host OS loses access to that info, and that is used to target better ads in certain phone platforms.

Here's one example: GPT-4 was actually done back in August of last year. If their goal was to maximize profit, the obvious thing to do would be to release API access to it as soon as possible.

They did that, that's how Reid Hoffman got early access to write his book, that's how Microsoft got access to start working on Bing/ChatGPT4 for a cool $10 billion and that's how countless of other got early access. Got the money, got the marketing and got the synchronized deployment of multiple use cases by a selected crew of companies and they get to say the corpspeak of 'we care, we didn't release on August!'. This is taken from the Apple iOS SDK book, you make the API changes and release privately to have the announcement and a parade of implementations by third party to prove that it is viable.

This right here is the right strategy, make a new framework and wait for the model to be re-trained with a corpus large enough for it to be correct. Rinse and repeat.

If you zoom-out a ship is just a small island, a rock or something floating around in the water that can be used as a pit-stop. If birds evolved to judge something as useful to rest - these birds just see a higher quantity of pit stops. Would be interesting if they lower the required calories to make the trip beforehand as time passes.

Yeah, now your wife and each kid will fill taxes by themselves and you crack down on that there - you give the free tax benefit as a deduction on your income tax so if your 3 year old doesn't have income there's no benefit. The trust itself can fill taxes, you allow the tax-free benefit to apply to only single individual tax form and force a trust to pay tax.

Easily fixed with a tax system:

1) first home tax-free - the address you submit your yearly taxes on. Incentivize people to own at least one home.

2) second property you pay taxes for both homes now - no more tax free benefit since you are able to afford more than one place.

3) more than 2 properties you pay taxes for all of them times some factor 0.05*N houses. Fudge around with the factor to allow more supply for all the first home buyers since now it it is more expensive to hold multiple properties.

Not sure if this falls under Georgism.

That's by design, money is actively invested on AI because they see an upside. Would you claim the same for homelessness?

Not to mention that the corpus mostly will have the correct case for most common words like apple. Train it with essays of ESL students and you'll get something else.

I've would be shocked to learn that Disney doesn't have the full path taken by each individual inside the park.

My guess is whoever paid attention to the stars/sky and deciphered solstices could get enough knowledge to start being seen as a holy man. You are able to predict seasons and plan agriculture, etc. Add some secrecy in the mix and you have multi-generational power structures.
