Maybe this a a naive take but I see Demis as future Google CEO candidate. If AI is really the future, he is much better suited to lead the company.

Don’t expect anything to change re politics. The CEO has to look out for the interest of the company.

I remember wasting hours on Maelstrom. Believe it or not this game actually fit on a 1.44MB disk. There was another one of their games that was addictive called Escape Velocity. Man that was a awesome game.

It's these kind of forward projections that cause booms and busts, ie. people assuming that housing prices will increase at a steady/regular rate over time. Just as we saw that this doesn't happen in a steady way, nor will facebook steadily decline over the next 3 months.

To me 50% of this show was Dan Benjamin. Without him it will not be the same show, even if Gruber is the main draw card. Sad to see him leave, but I'm more interested in what is ahead for Dan. He has a great network.
