I mean, yeah. They push some things that would help - to sell its ideas to peole, but in the end if they got to power they would tripple down and do horrible things.

If the german government and its parties actually listened to people, the AFD would have like 5% and would be non issue. Same with all extremist parties tht try to latch on some idea to get voted in.

AFD is reactonary party, russian trojan horse, that just feeds on the Germanys government total failure to listen to its peoples needs. Russia has of course a stake in using E2E, to communicate with their paid actors. But that does not diminish peoples right for privacy. We have a lot of info about russias mingeling but we still do nothing about it. No private chat needed.

What i found the most fascinating, is that they say its to protect children. But when you look at real child abuse cases, there are huge gaps in sentencing, policing and protecting kids in all countries. Where i live child abuser will get lower sentence than someone who sold weed. There is a lot of real police work that can be done, honey trap pedos on roblox, infiltrate public whatsapp groups to check and monitor for soliciting. Actually listening and responding to child abuse. Work with schools. But this just requires real work. They don't want to do real work. And at the end, it will get thrown out by some senile corrupted judge.

They just want total control.

Not a single person that is not attached to EU voted for he. She is second hand vote. These roles should all be result of direct vote. This way you only get votes by people who are sucking the money of Eu parliament or. The only position people vote for is EP. And that % is so small, that if they ask the people who didn't vote if they want it, they would have to tear it down.

I am not against EU cooperation, mainly in external security and free market economy. But the system we have is not very democratic, and def not very representative of people. They act like demigods, elected by parliament with no real consequences of their actions.

Back in the day there was a mantra: best amount od code is 0. Now we have agents spitting lines after lines.

I am not afraid of my future. Even if one person can do work of 5, the amount of generated code will grow exponentially. And not everything can he vibecoded with 0 knowledge. There is a complexity that need understanding to change and optimize. For now :)

2 years ago i caught some repeated strep throat infection, repeated like 6-8 times - because my original general doctor said that with low CRP there is no way i have bacterial infection... before i found a doctor who finally did proper swab and ABTs - but i was so far gone that i got horrible headaches, muscle pain, stinging, absolute weakness... on top of that i cought covid and proper flu. Totally crazy, when they did mi vitamin D it was at 10% of minila recomended value. I god vit D and some immunity pills(pigs blood cells - this is questionable). I was slurping the vitamin D every day and in couple of weeks I was almost back to normal.

I have seen neurologists, imunologist, infection diseases specialist, everything is boreliosis qack and even somatic doctor...

Funny thing is before i got sick i spent 3 months on tenerife, so no reason for me to have low vit D. But it was probably depleted by immunity trying to fight the repeated infections.

so yeah, get your vitamin D checked if you feel weak, low on mood or anything out of zen

But less people to build something means more companies will he able to build something, this math will be interesting in the future. Also there will be a exponentially more stuff to maintain.

Make the work market, business market and everything 90% less complicated across EU. I would actually dictatorially made all work and company laws obsolete. EU company, flat tax 20%, goodbye. One month no reason firing. I just thought about how crazy is the car situation, you move somewhere with your car, for couple months and you SHOULD reregister your car, because of law and insurance, costs money, then you go back and again deregister and it costs money again. Millions of things like this. As if there cant be one EU car register and just insurance flow based on where you reside. Even the residence is different by every counry. Some need you to change “permanent” residence and ID and everything it touches. Some you just say i live here now, here is electricity bill, done. Law harmonization is the stupidest thing. Either make one EU law or do not put nose into it. Every country makes it differently, some even more strict than EU requires for no reason.

Once you have psych. diagnosis its over, doctors see you throught that lens. Ah yes, he has anxiety, of course his symptoms are psychosomatic and there is no need for more testing. My uncle was schizophrenic, medicated and living OK life after years and years of delusions. He also had untreated diabetes for years, but was on the right track. He went to doctor with pain in belly, they sent him home and told him nothing is wrong, couple days after he died from ruptured gallbladder...

Yes but it never ends there. Jira mess grows with middle managers trying to suck some kind of reports out of tasks. And trying to manage everything in it. 20 ticket states, 15 bug types and using epics for wrong reasons, every board setup differently. Moving between teams is hell. It is intergalactic spaceship when all you need to is go to have a smooth car ride.

I think at least 60% companies that use Jira could do better with just Trello. I dont know how it is possible to create such a horrible mess with task manager and some reports. But it probably keeps the managers and POs bussy so :D

There is like 0 cost for distribution, switching and using LLMs "AI" and other tools. Whatever comes, comes to everybody. There is basically 0 first movers advantage, that cannot be overcome in couple of months when new usefull tools become available.

Tourist trap as i see it is restaurant that will give you below average local food, for 3 times the price a good local food should cost, just because it is in the middle of the tourist area. Or tacky bars for tourists with different "attractions" to sell you watered down alcohol for high prices. For me, this is much worse than one time entrance to attraction. Because tourists thinks that this is the local culture.

There was one place i liked to go, it was kind of chill bar in a huge palazzo styled room. Like ballroom/theatre, with chill seats and sometimes small events. The place was huge and there was very little people. It got into tourist guides and is packed to the tits, with 4 western european teenagers getting out of bathroom stall at the same time... havent been there in years. So yeah. Locals used to but dont anymore :D

The issue is corruption and it is in capitalism, socialism and communism. Corruption is everywhere all the time. Capitalism is just redistribution of resources. There is also redistribution of resources in communism and there the corruption i would say is even bigger. Less in amount for one specific person, but spread out throught society that it rots from inside.

I just started photography last year and it makes much sense. This and: - do it with intention, to copy or simulate to learn how to do what you want. If you just go out and take random pictures you will not learn much. If you go and try to simulate some style, lightning, you learn a lot. I also think most of my pictures really suck even if i try. But then i look on pictures of someone who has "photographer" in profile with couple thousand subscribers and most of their pictures also suck. I hope one day to bridge the gap.

For me it is a mix of things, i referenced Star Trek because author of the comment mentioned it in comparison. But for me fantasy is in the past in the "better times" and magic. SciFi for me looks into the future or alternative reality enhanced by technology.

Dune for me is SciFi, because space, spaceships, and very little magic. It is about comparison of societies rejecting and embracing technology, with little magic on top.

I started photography last year, i shoot raw because i dont like sony colors. But I have very quick process: "auto", little fidgeting with sliders, one in 10 photos gets a mask for sky and then i apply some preset that i like most for the photo. I just cant spend 30minutes on one photo.

But the editing process is very subjective. even in era of film there was a lot of processing, colors with chemicals, fixing defects. Just manual photoshop.

I understand the simplicity and joy of purists, but to each his own i guess.
