This is definitely something that is important to be aware of and to have clarity on. Future investors and company buyers want proof you own the IP in your business if you're trying to sell it.

You should also check similar agreements on 99Designs, Freelancer.com, oDesk too to be sure you actually own what you buy.

Great news to see a UK company tackle the issue of copyright transfer in Europe. We launched Kunvay earlier this summer in the US as the first startup to tackle this exact problem. We hope more and more people learn more about how to safely navigate IP at work and in their everyday lives.

We think that stinks and is unfair to contributors. We can understand giving a license to use, but complete ownership is unfair and unreasonable.
