I mashed the keyboard for my username. Though it fits, since I "cook" a lot.
I don't hate it, but given a choice I wouldn't use it. It's not very intuitive. I felt like I was wasting time trying to deal with it, and never exactly sure why it wasn't working, rather than getting stuff done. My next project used Trello (only for Kanban-related activities) and I was much more productive.
I assume the 800k is because of vested stock with strong share growth.

I cannot understand why people insist on hating Telegram for their choice of tradeoff between convenience and privacy.
I recall the anger is not about any trade off. It is that they rolled their own poor crypto instead of using battle-tested crypto. There’s no convenience factor or trade off here, they just literally did the thing the textbooks tell you not to do, and have ignored the industry’s calls to use strong crypto.

No one has stopped to think about where that data has come from and why a publisher would choose to sell it all to a vendor who is going to build a business on top of their data. What’s actually happening is these ad tech vendors are trying to pad out the limited data they already own with other data sets from competitive vendors or other unknown sources.

In the US, a Roth IRA is somewhat similar, except it differs from what you described: early withdrawals have a penalty, and the contribution "room" is different. With the IRA, you can only contribute up to the $6000 annually. You don't accumulate "room", just principal. If you miss it, you miss it.

Wyoming has a 4-6% sales tax, nowhere near the 13% you're arguing about. If capgains of 13% is levied upon 10mil, that's 1.3mil.... while Wyoming's 4-6% sales tax is (obviously less than half that) only levied upon actual purchases (which in practice is way lower).

This argument is non-sensical. The counter-point of this argument is downloading an App from the App Store, which is usually a 50MB+ download, which is worse then "Grey Rectangle City". I'm on a flight right now, and I'd rather use a PWA over airplane wifi then try to download a full app from the App Store. You're proposing that a 50MB+ download is somehow way better than a <1MB download and I don't buy that.. especially on slow networks.
