It is far from fine. It was my little dirty project where I knew there was only 3 users and where I could be finally escape the usual process from my professional life.

But heh, now is the Time for me to patch all the hole I left. Lots of coffees depend on me now.

The "what should we eat" problem was a big source of tension in our household since the arrival of our first child. Too much time-consuming, too much planning effort. What changed our life (and I really mean it) is the app https://jow.com: it suggests you a list of meals for the week suited to your family and equipment, and it creates a shopping list for your preferred delivery provider. I only have good things to say about it and could go on for hours.

An PWA primarily for my wife and my daughter. They can order their hot chocolate and their coffee as if they were going to grab something at a fancy café downtown, but instead it's at home and I'm the barista. It is quite nice to have for when my wife comes back from work and want something specific, or when we are waiting for the visit of a few friend, they can order exactly the available beverages and everything is ready when they're here.

It was also a good playground for me to implement Web Push notifications (to never miss new orders).

It's a basic Nuxt 3 app with Appwrite as the backend with rough edges, but much enough for our household use !

If you want to spam my phone with notifications, please visit my café : https://mytinycafe.com/alix

Concordia Venus is an all time favorite here. I love it's balance between deck-building and worker placement mechanisms.

Just discovered Hansa Teutonica last week and it looks very interesting although the first game was frustrating as there is a lot to learn.

My account was repeatedly used to leave fake reviews on products I never bought.

I always had 2FA and strong password.

I tried to reach out to Amazon as a well as standard procedures for this kind of situztion, but faced only generic responses. Tried to recreate an account, the problem did not stop. Google results told me I was not alone stuck with this kind of experience.

I definitely closed my account, said farewell to my Kindle library and only use my spouse account when I need to buy some electronics for which Amazon provide a stellar customer service around here.

So yeah, Amazon lost me and I have zero confidence in the security of the platform and the legitimity of the reviews.

It is the most basic forum of a website, but so useful for sharing bao recipes with students and links with friends. Or the other way around. My emphasis was on designing something humble (as I was just starting my PhD program) and comfortable to read.

It is really funny to see so many people disagreeing in the comments over the suitability of this meal. Are you sure you're not talking about spaces and tabs?

Jokes asides, if you get the chance to taste some French Tacos, the "Gratiné" option, if available, adds grilled cheese on top and that's amazing.

Until today, my fav is the "Indy" option from Hamamet in Lyon (Charpennes) , that comes with additional slices of goat cheese and black olives. The absolute best to ruin the benefits of the running you did just before.

Can't believe Yunohost isn't more cited in this thread. I had to setup a whole productivity suite a few weeks ago, it took me less than 2 hours with everything right.

I am particularly impressed by the easiness of the update process.

I developed for myself krlx.fr/feu-analytics/ for exactly the same scenario.

It is self-hosted but on firebase and taking advantage of the free tier. Of course there is no personal data collected at any point.

There are still improvement to do, but as it works perfectly for me I have not be able to gather enough motivation to do that.

Damn, I knew that the Micro:bit was a thing but I never expected it to embark so many sensors.

Even outside school context it looks amazing to quickly make some IoT or Wearable stuff. Embarking wireless, accelerometer and sound right out of the box is amazing. No more loosely attached cables to extension boards.

Thank you for making me dive into it!
