There's nothing wrong with living in the Caribbean. Tons of people live there for a reason. Biggest issue with the Caribbean is the price of property, susceptibility to climate disasters and susceptibility to external political forces which means constant securit threat.

Ahhh yes, whose entire family is maga and lives in the most conservative state in America
Same reason why women like having women spaces. There certain experiences exclusive to being a male.
Buddy, if wokeness is making you a racist then you were always a racist especially within the US context where families have endured 100s of years of generational racism. You’re not making any sense
Actually you overestimate the general public's ability to discern what's real or not. On top of that, most people don't even care if it's real. This is exactly why Trump won.
Example: if a gen ai vid of a politician doing some crazy crime came out. Even if it were proven fake, people would start questioning everything and still act as if the politician were guilty

Yes, forced. It isn't a free subscription. X is failing so Musk needs to fudge the numbers as valuation is in a free fall.
lol. I think you live in your little bubble. I’ve used Twitter for a while, there were always a wide range of opinions. Only difference now is that there are extremist opinions posts amplified. And Elon sets the tone. When you have the owner of a site posting race science, it clearly shows the site is one sided. If you like it, you like it but I think Twitter is clearly dying. I think social media in general will hit a downturn over the next decade
Groupthink is every social media site. You go on Twitter, it's primarily right wing group think. Go on certain forums, same thing. Even Hackernews is extremely slanted on topics and it's even funnier because some of you folks are clueless on the topics at hand.
It isn't lmao. I've always seen people say pretty much what they want on Twitter unless it was super bigoted and even those posts were allowed at times. The only different is nazi content and that's a fact. Hence the reason why most of the banned users with the most followers were literally nazi/extremist users.
But Musk claims X is the free speech town square but it isn't
Didn't Visa start as a non proftit?
Most of Haiti doesn't eat mud cookies, what in the hell are you talking about? Most Haitians' diet consist of rice and beans. Clueless American remains clueless
OpenAI will be the most valuable company in history at this rate. This is insane
The app is garbage. I deleted it. Anybody still using it is a fool. I had to routinely keep blocking far right content.
Any reason why your employer doesn’t just use incumbents?

Just add the same features but focus on a Reddit like format with communities.
no, it isn't. WA is the industry standard. More features doesn't mean better
It’s bs to you and I couldn’t care less. I have absolutely 0 care for the alt right having “the right” to spew whatever hateful bs. If they got banned from the net, I’d be just fine. So again this “freedom of speech” bs is exhausting
This is why some of you should just stick to tech and refrain from even speaking on such subjects. Your lack of knowledge is astounding and you're a fucking idiot. This is ridiculous
Stop pushing fucking bullshit. US and European refused to port in Haiti because it was bad optics, as Haiti was a country that successfully freed itself from slavery while European and American countries still employed those tactics. US had no problem dealing with countries slaughtering natives, black people, etc. but somehow you're trying to paint this bullshit genocide narrative. Spoken like a person who truly has no fucking clue what they're talking about.
this post is garbage. This author clearly has some bias in his articles. Haiti and DR were one country at one point, the French debt forced Haitians to tax Dominicans to help pay off the money. Dominicans ended up fighting a war to separate which resulted in even more money lost. Secondly, the West completely shunned Haiti which is why France was even able to get away with the debt. US didn't want to trade with a country that eliminated slavery and other western countries felt the same. Lastly in regards to America's involvement. Who tf do you think was bankrolling dictator, Duvalier? Oh, that's right, the US. Take a look at Haiti early to mid 1900s to now. There is a stark contrast. The country itself may have not been extremely wealthy, but the image of being the poorest country in the Americas, complete collapse infrastructure destroyed what should have been a thriving tourist industry like other parts of the Caribbean. Instead the primary tourist destination of Haiti is leased by an American corporation
What qualifies as harassment on a social media platform? It’s quite easy to say you’re exercising your rights. Elon and alt right conservatives want a no moderation platform where they can say anything. If that’s what they want to do, go for it but it will die because the same things always happen, echo chamber that repels everyone except a niche group
A platform should have the right to have whatever speech that they deem appropriate. A court deciding that literally contradicts your argument. 2. Moderation is up to each private organization, they can moderate, moderate lightly, heavily moderate, etc, it’s their company and their choice 3. “They should” aka it’s their choice. You don’t have a sound argument at all
Fair moderation is one thing. What people who say Twitter has a free speech problem have something else in mind. They want a platform where they can say whatever bigoted things they want then hide behind it because “hurr durr free speech”, that never works. Twitter is already toxic, can you imagine the things that would be said with no moderation
You can’t moderate a free speech platform, that’s the thing. So I can realistically harass someone online and be well within my bounds of “free speech”. I can say the most vile things ever and be well within my bounds of free speech
This is so wrong, it's hilarious. Some of you are completelY out of touch. Gen Z like most generations care about results to make life easier not the underlying tech. That's why there's a ton of knowledge sharing/data going around so people don't have to work as hard.
which competitor
No, that's not the problem at all. The problem is that Plaid falsely used TD Bank without having a relationship with the bank. The company literally has a bank partnerships team so that "void warranty" argument doesn't even make sense.
