Any recommendations for how to deal with this cycle? I find I fall into the same pattern you describe.
Do these external display limits apply even when using display link monitors or dock?
Essentially why is it like something to be this system of neurons modeling the environment and acting on it.
But why should it be like something to convert short term memory to long term memory? Computational systems can convert data between different forms of memory but we don't typically believe consciousness emerges from this operation.
Isn't this a category error? Just because my stomach lining is wet doesn't mean I'm wet.
Not agreeing or disagreeing with your larger point but garbage picking is an interesting example. Aren't there folks who volunteer to pick up trash/litter on the side of the road and in parks? There's definitely an incentive (maintaining your community and other emotional/less-tangible benefits of volunteering) but it's not quite being payed to do it.
This is not a reddit thread. Give the tired responses a break and read the HN guidelines.
Maybe dial back the snark. You seem to have forgotten to make any sort of coherent reply to what I actually said.
It's not like this is some isolated incident and Amazon's culture is otherwise healthy. The fish rots from the head.
A big problem is it's practically unusable on mobile (at least for me) Clicking once via finger tap often results in multiple clicks being applied.

How could you not care about proving this to others? You seem to harbor some hope that you can talk to a passed loved one via this or a related means? If you could prove this isn't just lucid dreaming then you could have the help of other people interested in taking the same path. Think how many people you could help and how this would revolutionize science. Don't you want to validate the method by which you're investigating the world? Shouldn't that be step one? I'm completely dumbfounded by your response.
Isn't the issue here short term vs long term consumer interest? It's all fine and dandy for consumers to pay lower prices because company A is eating losses to drive company B out of business but what happens after that.
We also don't debug computer programs by looking at logic gates. We have abstractions built on top of that.
Why is it like something to be these abstractions?
Shouldn't jokes be funny
Are you a bot?
"but you should only use the apostrophe (') to show you are joining two words. In this case, the words are "you" and "are", merging into "you're"."
Is obvious, unnecessary and condescending.
That seems to apply for blocks of text. I don't know that the same would hold true for code.

If you want your theory to gain acceptance, shouldn't you be trying to convince other scientists and not... people on Twitter via ad campaigns?
Why no PRs?
If they want to step up the basis, shouldn't they have to pay capital gains taxes on the difference?
The estate tax's average effective rate of 17 percent (2017) is below the capital gains rate.
Getting rid of tiktock-est YouTube shorts or whatever they call it. Hated having that on my YouTube homepage and the official app doesn't let you remove it. YouTube Vanced does. I also pay for YouTube premium.
Seems that taxing negative externalities like carbon emissions would be good start
Back symbol pointing left is probably less intuitive if your language isn't left to right oriented. Wonder if back symbols or back animations have ever been "localized" to orient based on the language used.
Obviously you give the reference a coding test
