I'm a developer, but just to play devil's advocate... think about the end user. Having a review process (though, Apple can improve theirs, see below) helps protect the end user. Programmers, companies, etc. can't just repeatedly push updates non-stop, starting with half-baked apps, iterating too quickly. How do you have a check process that ensures an app is up to standard and "safe"? In addition, the time cost to release adds value to a release, hopefully helping it be more thought out, bringing more value to the user.

Again though... I think the point is that Apple could have a better review process that A) values the developer more and B) shouldn't take as long. I agree with that.

The desktop experience, at least for me, has been amazing. Very fast and clean.

The download times for messages / etc have been MUCH slower recently. I’m thinking it’s because of the load they are experiencing. As more people donate and as they scale for the load I imagine (and hope) it might even be faster than it was before.

What is this Wikipedia "Deletion Police"? I haven't heard of quality content being consistently deleted.

To a normal internet user, they make it look like they endorse the product.

The 'meets our minimum security standards' seal is still next to the product.

What is Mozilla doing? They are endorsing the 'Google Home'? The 'Ring Doorbell'? Products from Nest? I guess it makes sense, with the amount of money they get from Google- they have to.

While these devices might have encryption, security updates, etc, many of the devices listed ABUSE user privacy. Many of the devices here ARE creepy!

I could provide 10 links as proof, but it's not even worth the time. You can go ahead and 'Google' the proof.

How will that help provide better results?

Just a little sad to see how much value they put into the iPhone and services while iPad and Mac software is lacking. Obviously, they're making money, and that's their goal. However, I think sales could be boosted for the iPads and Macs if they increased the quality of the software for those devices.

I use Firefox every day, I like Rust, and I like what Mozilla stands for. The hard thing is... I'm pretty sure a significant portion of their revenue comes from Google, which is ironic.
