It’s around $4-5k USD to set up a exempted company and get a bank account for said company in the Caymans, with annual costs being in the $2-3k USD range. Can be cheaper or more expensive, depending on the service provider. Not uncommon for more savvy investors.

Ah! Acmella oleracea — also known as a Szechuan Button. Chandelier Bar at the Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas famously does an off-menu cocktail with Jambú called The Verbena.

Nubank’s mobile apps are built using Flutter. They’re the largest neobank in LATAM (>50MM customers).

Partner at other VC firms = General Partner at a16z. Pretty much everyone, including associates and principals, have the title of "Partner" at a16z.

Love this. We ran into a lot of these pain points while we were building and growing Flex @ Twilio. We ended up creating a "shadow" support org in the early days that provided 1:1 (product-led!) support to our early customers via Slack. That did not scale.

You are aware of and are trying to address many the issues we ran into as we grew our customer base (e.g. pass to tickets, getting new team members up to speed, etc.).

I am very interested in how you are planning on addressing the tooling issue, from the _end-customer_ POV. We settled on shared Slack channels because the majority of our early customers used Slack for their own internal comms. Using shared channels was very low friction for onboarding folks and provided a solid experience (vs. having to push them into another tool to get support).

Tagging onto the top comment here. I work at Twilio and this is our official statement on the enforcement of our AUP with Parler.

---

With regards to reports of cyber security issues Parler experienced and have been attributed to Twilio, our security team investigated the claims and found no evidence indicating their security issues were related to Twilio or our products. Per our Website [0], Twilio has not issued any press releases pertaining to or referencing Parler.

Furthermore, Parler was using Twilio to send out identity verification codes for new downloads or password resets. Once a user was verified, security protocols were independently handled by Parler and did not involve Twilio or its products. On Friday, January 8th, we sent Parler a letter informing them they were in violation of our Acceptable Use Policy [1] and notifying them that we would suspend their account if they did not make efforts to remediate multiple calls for violence on their platform. Shortly after receiving our letter, Parler informed us they had already turned off their integration with Twilio.

Any cyber security issues experienced by Parler were completely unrelated to Twilio or any of its products.

The wheels are pretty fantastic on the Muji cases. IMO, they're equivalent to the wheels on the Away cases. They're not as nice as the wheels on my Rimowa case, but the difference is not worth the premium (given how cheap Muji is).

I would argue that the predominant reason to choose One Medical for primary care would be the value added services included with the $199/yr fee.

Gotcha. Yeah, the dev kits on some of those are a bit pricey (2k and up).

Coming from an industrial use-case, I personally really liked the Realwear HMT-1 — it performs like a champ, is surprisingly comfortable, is available as intrinsically safe, and has an easy-to-work-with team behind the scenes.

Would strongly consider skipping Glass EE, depending on what you want to do.

The spoofing happens frequently and it's incredibly frustrating if you are the unfortunate person whose number gets spoofed.

My number got spoofed by a robo-dialer who called the ENTIRE +1 469 prefix. I received dozens of calls a day from angry people who got called.
