Super cool! Great work on making it fast and having clear benchmarks.

I had some fun looking through them and seeing how comma-separated-values — a package I authored ~9 years ago and posted to Show HN as well fared.

I was also thinking about how they could've integrated this into every app, but I figured that simple tasks would be more reliable across all apps if they did AI-recognition on screenshots of the desktop + injecting data like "Installed Apps", then by the end of it output virtual keyboard event or a virtual click at an X/Y coordinate.

Just some afternoon postulating haha

I chose “ideology” because it captured religious fundamentalism (in all flavours), specific state ideologies, critical theory, “communism” (as implemented by various countries)…

Many bright things have dark sides to them.

I’ve been doing a lot of research in the space and the most damning part of it all is that our civilization’s carbon capture capacity is not there yet. We don’t have the technology to do that — yet. That’s why one of the most impactful things we can do is support the technology companies in developing this technology.

As someone also on the younger side, I want to echo what you've said: I've also felt feelings of not belonging, things are hard, but you'll probably be fine.

More like the GP, however, I've gotten there not through identification with others but instead through the cultivation of a spiritual life philosophy.

Like GP, I also grow tired of hearing these voices too often. I have a little sister, who is 13 now, and she feels submitted to her fate. More often than not she feels like a candle in the wind (queue Elton John) instead of a captain at the helm.

But you're right, it is something to pay attention to. These little instances all add up to be statistically relevant and a source of knowledge for collective social truth-finding.

One thing I must insist on, philosophically, however, is that we are not often served by identifying with sub-par things. Personal identification is very useful for aspiring and evolving, but personal identification with the present or the past can unnecessarily keep you anchored to bad habits.

Said another way, why would I reach out to K8s or ECS if I can handle all that within the runtime?

In my experience with Elixir, bringing everything into the code reduces the surface area of complexity and makes it much easier to model in your head.

I think you’re onto something that I’ve been practicing more and more as well… that there exists this calm, knowing but wordless, essence of mind.

I call it the Tao, Loch Kelly calls it Level 3 (of 5), and I think you call it G-d.

As someone who was raised with a light touch of Islam, defected the Atheism only to circle back to Zen and Taoism, I’m looking for the “link” between Abrahamic religions and (my Western interpretation) of Eastern practices.

I heard their algorithm is quantized — first your video is “piloted” with a small set of people that are guaranteed to see it.

Then, if it passes a metric, it graduates to a bigger pool of people.

And then one more level.
