I doubt that. From what I understand Vilfredo Pareto introduced it to describe the existing allocation of wealth in Italy on the brink of fascism. He claimed that the crops in his garden followed this principle. I highly doubt that that can be replicated. Ever since people refer to the Pareto principle when they observe a 80/20 distribution. Like it is some kind of natural law. But it is not. At least I have yet to see a scientific explanation why a 80/20 distribution would have any kind of special meaning. Just because some distributions are 80/20 doesn't mean there is anything special about it, a lot of distributions are not 80/20.
So I think society would be better off if people would stop acting like it is a natural law and there is nothing to change about it.
Paereto distribution is dangerous since it is applied to justify hierarchies in society. And it is just not a good justification.

From the kernel point of view, there is a only one socket with a unique listen queue. This socket is associated to several file descriptors: one in systemd and one in the current process. The socket stays alive as long as there is at least one file descriptor. An incoming connection is put by the kernel in the listen queue and can be dequeued from any file descriptor with the accept() syscall. I'm not familiar enough with closed loop control theory to make a statement if the analogy is appropriate. But a quick skim is definitive not enough to get an understanding of Foucault. However these two quotes from the plato article should make a good starting point:

I got diagnosed with ADHD age 15. Methylphenidate gave me these zombie like spacing out symptoms. I later switched to Amphetamine and didn't feel the negative side effects of Methylphenidate.
Methylphenidate is the only authorized substance for ADHD treatment here in Germany. I had to pay for my Amphetamine treatment by myself. I had the impression that the pharmaceutical industry doesn't have an interest in getting an authorization for amphetamines as that substance can be produced by a local pharmacy on site. Even thou I can confirm that the side effects are much less with amphetamines.
Now age 35 I haven't taken any medications for ADHD for 8 or 9 years. It was good to help me with school and university but now I don't need to put myself into a position where medication could be helpful. Still wouldn't want to work in an open floor plan office. Not sure if that is an medical condition.
Most of the stuff you would be doing with Ansible happens inside the Dockerfiles. So comparing lines of code of your Ansible codebase with just the docker-compose file is not fair towards Ansible.

Can Google be held legally accountable for this behavior? Seems like they are hurting businesses by spreading false information. With their market power there need to be some incentive for them to react quicker and with human oversight.

I doubt that any of those articles could convince higher management. I don't know what a "respected source" actually means. I general I believe that advice from consulting agency and cloud providers should be taken with a grain of salt.
If you drew the same conclusion from the "Who’s at the Helm?" article than I, there is only one way out which is a curated container catalog. VMware's Tanzu Application Catalog [5] is the only product in that space I'm aware of. I have quoted the price tag on HN, I think it was removed since that, so I won't repeat it here again. In any way it was magnitudes higher than the EKS base price which already seen as a showstopper by many small shops. Bottom line is: it is really hard and really expensive to operate containers in a secure manner. Probably too hard and too expensive that it would be a good idea to start with it before you actually need it.

AFAIK it is basic and a common way to install packages in k8s. Usually the developers of a project with k8s focus like Prometheus provide a helm chart for easy installation. However it is a package manager and easy confused with a distribution. I recommend to read "Who's at the helm?" [0] discussed a few days ago here [1].

I understand that the idea might be popular among developers as it is easier to just add a database container to your stack rather than dealing with the db admin. I don't know if Netflix ever recommended databases as sidecar containers. But I have seen it in the wild where dev followed the Netflix model. I sometimes hear people arguing that they have to manage containers anyway so it would be less overhead to manage the db as a container as well.

Building from source seems me the only way to get to a reasonable state when it comes to security patching.
However these modern stacks contain a lot of small parts. The article gives the kiwigrid/k8s-sidecar as an example. Also, well shown in the article, it is not as easy as copying some commands to your own Dockerfile. Look at the busybox image using glibc from another debian image.
It's not reasonable in the sense that it is a hell lot of work and would require more time and effort the average devops/sre/whatever (team) has.
It would also go against the promise that Kubernetes would make things easy because you could just do helm install stable/prometheus
You might want to take a look at org-web[0]. It's a webfrontend for org-mode. But I think it could be used without Emacs as well. It's self-hosted and uses org files to store the data. It should meet most of your criteria. Not sure if it is still under development.
The legal cap is 48hrs/week, max 10hrs/d. Parental leave is 12-14 months and you get around 67% of your average net income. When you look at vacation you have to take public holidays into account and that differs a lot between the states within Germany. Germany has 5 public holidays (which don't fall on a Saturday or Sunday), the USA for example has 9 public holidays this year. The benefits are largely the result of workers unions. Most benefits were given to prevent a rise of communism. The result were high work standards. But those high standards only apply to some industries which are in decline and some of them have almost disappeared (steel for example). Germany is almost certainly not the worst place to be a worker. The problem is that Germany is a gerontocracy. Only the elderly part of the workforce fully benefits from them. 30 days paid leave with 38-39hrs/week were normal a few decades ago. Nowadays one should not expect to get more than the bare minimum. In a lot of industries workarounds have become the norm. For example workers in slaughterhouses are hired as contractors so work standards don't need to be applied. The main issue I have is that the German economy and the idea of the social welfare state is on shaky feet. The baby boomer will retire within the next decade but the German welfare state is based on a pyramid scheme which will collapse soon. So Germany is a bad place to be worker in that sense that you need to take a gigantic bet on the continuation of a system which is designated to fail on the long run.
The problem is that Terraform is stateful. Terraform will revert the Lambda code back to the state defined in Terraform when Terraform is applied after the code was updated outside of Terraform.
There is a way to mitigate this a by making Terraform ignore changes to the actual code of the Lambda.
