My parents lost a dear friend who was sending a text that took his eyes off the road and resulted in a fatal crash, fortunately only involving his car, but tragic none the less. Put down the phone, nothing is that urgent.

I agree, it's sad though they did some groundbreaking coverage in the past. I thought that tablet based reading would help the media industry a lot more than it has to date.

it is worth noting that they let the 4 employees in question go, that shows that they are taking the issue seriously now, IMO anyway

interesting read, but wish it went into more detail about why these companies are more successful beyond the presence of women..seems a bit incomplete

I also have conflicting options about the issue. On the one hand, yes get out of the way and let things evolve. On the other, how sustainable is a city that only the wealthy can afford to live.

My husband and I loved living in SF, but left because event though we both have great, well paying jobs, we can't afford a place large enough to be comfortable, let alone have a kid. So we moved and many of those we know have done the same.
