I think it depends on the idea. Generally, you should patch together something as a beta and roll it out to community/friends/family for feedback. But if it is something that will take almost a year for a beta then you should spend time validating as well.

Bro, It is amazing but I would suggest you to look for another job. In my office in Bangalore, we watch on TV and screen in cafeteria leaving the work aside although some meetings have to be attended.

Although I appreciate the honesty about the company in this blog, my issue is almost every big company behaves in the same way. FAANG is not the absolute best, it is just best option among the worst. The only other option is to work at a small startup or start your own company but that is a different ballgame and requires extreme levels of grind.

My issue is when the display it self is 1440p. Then you are stuck with downscaling 4k 60 fps (because 4k 120 is too much for PS as well as required HDMI 2.1) or upscaling 1080p 120fps which doesn't look that great.

I feel the same is true for me as well. I wasn't aware of this extension though. For now, what I do is if I see myself getting addicted to an app, I just uninstall/block it for 2-3 weeks. After that even if I install it back, the craving is mostly gone. It does come back though in 3-4 months. Facebook was boring for me so never used it again after uninstalling.

Unpopular opinion - People keep on creating so many privacy focused platforms but general public doesn't seem to care. Seems like there is only like a small minority which cares about privacy.
