^^^^. It's a you problem, not a them problem. My guess is you think the value add is providing technical expertise, while it's really schmoozing with tech mixed in somehow. Adapt or die
getting certs in high demand fields will practically guarantee you sail through any interview process at any company. The hot ones right now are cloud architect, cloud developer, data engineer, and anything security related. Don't pay attention to loser developers who do nothing to keep educated on cutting edge technologies.

Get them 2 books: Basic Machines and How They Work, and Basic Electricity, both written by the Navy. Have those be their bibles. Then a steady dose of Kahn Academy.
as someone who used to grow yt channels, some things that could help: show your face on camera. people bond with people. have either your face or exaggerated on thumbnails for better click-through. use google keyword planner and/or keywords everywhere to target current highly searched for keywords in your niche
they ad to have got the cash in the first place, so they can tell the owners how to be profitable
most expensive. saves time because I know I'm getting (generally) the highest quality. time is the precious resource, not money (which I can always make)
