A similar editor was made for the book Thing Explainer[1] by Randal Munroe from XKCD. A book that explains all kinds of different things, from space shuttles to microwaves using the top 1000 common English words.

I wouldn't even think of looking for a package that does something as simple as the ones mentioned. If I need to pad a string, my first thought would be to create a new function, not look for a package...

I feel we should be more productive and focus on finding a way for the owner to get a message to the monk instead of debating copyright...

Would be nice to still have the Google search and recent tab thumbnails. Maybe just change the background of the new tab page instead. But still pretty neat!

Doesn't seem to be loading for me. Just the PlayCanvas logo. Not seeing any errors in JS console. Using Chrome Version 41.0.2272.104 (64-bit).

EDIT: Tried another game from playcanvas.com and I get a banner saying 'This page requires a browser that supports WebGL.' However, it is enabled.

This is just an FYI for the developer, but is probably just a problem on my end.

Was working for about ten minutes. But now isn't showing any answers, thus marking all answers as wrong.

As many others, I often get frustrated when working through different problems. But I find taking a break and doing 'outdoor activities' such as backpacking and rock climbing gives my mentality a break. Afterwards, when I go back to tackling my problem, I feel refreshed. However, I don't only do this when I get frustrated with a problem, but after I complete one too.

Taking breaks to 'get back in touch with nature' while doing something so technically involved tremendously helps my workflow.

Interesting.. still working for me, even in incognito mode (just to make sure it wasn't only working for my google account). Either way, just google the title as someone else said, and it will get around the paywall. Sorry!

This is great! I added it as a custom search engine with the keyword 'py' in chrome. Just right click the search field and click 'Add as Search Engine'!

I learned regex this way about a year ago. First I went through the tutorials on http://regexone.com/, then started working the puzzles to burn it in. Really easy and useful once you understand it!

Not to mention the constant flow of emails they send you everyday. I had to add a rule just to keep them from taking over my inbox! Some may consider that spam!

tl:dr People who have never been addicted to anything and don't take the time to talk to addict to find out what is really going on are ignorant.

It's sad when people are witch hunted like this. Not taking the time to see what is really going on. Being ignorant and only focusing on one thing. My fiance is a recovering addict who happens to be on Suboxone. As controversial as it is, it still helps tremendously. Anyone who actually takes the time to talk to people like this will find themselves wrapped up in a very complex and interesting story. There are some who do heavy drugs and end up ruining their lives or worse, dying. However, there are a few who use, and have it completely under control. Based solely on this article, one can see that this man, Mr. Aaron, had/has his addiction under control and only wants to be left alone to handle it himself. But when it comes to addicts, most look down on them and see them as scum. Many believe addiction is a disease, and if that is the case, one wouldn't look down on someone with Aspergers. They would help.

Awesome idea, something I've been wanting to see for a while. Maybe add a splash/about page to give more information on what it is for people who happen upon the site from other sources than HN, where it has been described.

I was wanting to do something just like this recently. Very visualizing and pleasing to watch. Now we just need some slow building dramatic melody to watch as our planet melts away!

Glad I got in when I had the chance! I use to use googles service, but tend to like outlook just a bit more. Not that I favor microsoft, just like the interface and features more.

I've read multiple articles on people doing this. Practice is the best way to learn. Admittedly, I've tried and failed on this before. I love seeing people succeed and become better at their practice using this method. It can only serve as inspiration for others. Thanks and congrats!
