This reminds me of multiple websites. websites that sells specialized items in their niche.

their products, all different companies have stellar reviews left in their website via third party software.

but you can easily tell that those reviews have to be fake. even though they are verified.

you can easily tell fake reviews, its like theyre not even trying to write a fake review.

even more hilarious is they sometimes accidentally write a review for the wrong product for the wrong company

the thing that worries me is this makes me question if the product that i am buying is actually legit. like is this product actually safe as they say it is and is actually non-toxic to a human’s body

Anyone here an expert? How safe are these planes and their derivatives if I fly frequently? IIRC, they made some updates to the new planes that uses the same engines. Also more training for the new models? Would those be enough?

Also how do you prevent using specific airplanes as a passenger. Some locations, airlines, and their nearby cities i think only uses these planes and their derivatives right? So how do you avoid that? Seems like driving for multiple days is a terrible idea. Would you prefer using multiple nonprimary airports and small engine planes?

Hey there I teach people to code some of them I teach web.

I think the easiest way to go about this, is to learn how to fly a plane. Then once you've learnt that you can kinda learn it piece by piece. IE: it's easier to teach someone how to drive a car first before teaching them how to mod it and write a self-driving program for it.

But, then again, some mechanical engineers learn how to build planes, before knowing how to fly a plane.

It really helps if you can reach out to someone in that industry and they can show you the ropes

I've taken a lot of courses on story writing / telling. I still suck at it

There are fundamentals in story writing / telling. Depends on the medium you are using. You prob know all of this.

So, one thing that I've noticed is that people who are actually good at this is that they do it as their main passion. So, practice and see how others are doing it. Also get feedback. Telling stories is not a passive activity

Reading about what makes a good story was somewhat interesting to me and i thought just reading and knowing about it would make me better. If you don't do the thing that makes you better and just read about it's prob a passive activity

Btw, people I know who really loves stories wether sharing or writing can consume over 150 fiction books a year. Doing 100 a year was already insurmountable for me, so I gave up on that.

It all depends on the product, designers, market, product owners, marketing team, and target audiences

Some products would have different funnel for the lifecycle of their product. Sometimes it might make sense to do one thing for a specific funnel and might not on a different context.

However, that assumes we are making decisions based on data.

To answer your question, it depends on what you plan to do with the car and how much you want to spend. Toyota, Honda, Jeep, Porsche, Ford, Ferrari, Chevy.

I think you will always need a trip to the dealership and it won't even always be an issue with your infotainment. The exception is if you know how a lot about cars.

Also, people don't need your car technology to track you. I know people who lost 10k of camera equipment in their car because they were targeted using other attack vectors.

I have tesla at the moment and it has a lot of digital gimmicks. I am thinking of going into porsche or c8 in the next few months.

You brought up a really good question about privacy. I'm seeking some wisdom about that too. I know that my location, supercharging, and trips are tracked. Prob even sentry might be watched by a content moderator at tesla.

Now, let's say i switch to a porsche or a c8. Wouldn't i still have privacy risks? The risks are, my cellphone, wifi, bluetooth, credit cards, data brokers, cookies, in-store purchases, transactions, or even more sophisticated attack like using people i know as another vector.

You can even track people on the blockchain. I think the exception would be something like monero.

So, I guess can someone more knowledgable share info about the issues privacy issues with tech gadgets in cars. How big of an issue is it if you are already completely integrated in modern tech society?

For the wireless argument, here is mine.

I use an airpods pro. I also have multiple high end headphones. I only apple os with wireless. If I was using linux, android, windows then I have to use my other headphones, since my bluetooth always have issues with wireless using other os.

The airpods pro is probbably my favourite headphones that I have. I use it 95% of the time

The only time I use wired headphones is if I need to use my amp when I really need/want to listen to the quality of something or if im using non apple os.

Wires are a pain in the a$% for me personally and ironically more fragile than my airpods pro. It's hard to move around with wires and they tangle a lot wether if im wearing them or not.

The airpods pro are small and you can have noice cancelling, transparency, and normal mode. The only downside is I have to charge them every 5~ hours.

They connect to my phone, and my 3 computers easily without unhooking the wires.

The only annoying thing about the airpods pro is that people don't know that i have something in my ear because my hair is long and I am listening to something. When they are trying to start a conversation I usually can't hear them.

The only time they fall out of my ears is if im cleaning the house cause im moving my head around too much. They don't even fall when I'm working out or running

in my case when i have to occasionally financially support my siblings so that they can have better employment opportunities, those seems to be more rewarding for me personally even if i never see that money again. i dont think id invest money on strangers unless i get a crazy roi like some bootcamps

Historically there were some exchanges that have been hacked. This caused not only the company to go bankrupt but people losing a lot of money. How does coinbase prevent this from happening? This is very much one of the reasons I will never hold crypto (FYI: I've wrote my own Golang flavour of ethereum blockchain and solidity when it first came out, since im gonna get bashed for this post. I also regret not putting 1k during ethereums ICO when that was the only money I had in my bank account. This is not an investment advice). If my etrade or bank account got hacked, I can still get my money back through FDIC and SIPC. If a non-tech personstarted hyping a cryptocurrency and placed 100k in it, and they get hacked, essentially their 100k evaporates right? I guess there are worse ways to gamble your money

What I like about crypto though is the 24/7 market. I wish there was something like this in the stock market.

I think what these oil companies realized is that they will cater to two personas of their customers. EV and IC vehicles

I think they realized that IC and EV are both not going away soon, so why not keep their customer base instead of other competitors taking them away.

Also, they already have the advantage of real estate. They know that they can add a charging network cheaply in their gas stations than a new player in town building one.

I don't really buy the argument that they can limit supply to increase the price of driving EV.

I recently bought an EV and sold my IC car because it puts a smile on my face when I drive it. It was never a financial decision for me. Plus EV are insanely expensive, most of these people can afford a substantial increase in electricity prices

Like geez, you can buy two IC for one EV. I do hope that EV car prices go down significantly as it seems like a lot of people would want to buy an EV, but the price point is just too much

Wouldn't creating a bottleneck to significantly increase the supply be more expensive than competitors expanding the supply

The only way I see that the competitors being crushed is through IP. But for me that seems a little farfetched

I've tried afternoon naps throughout my life I'm part of the distribution where it only made my cognitive function and physical performance worse.

It's been years since I tried it last, so I'll def check it out. So far the best thing for my cognitive function from all my experiments is to have a good night sleep, eat healthy, meditate, have passions, and exercise. This doesn't mean Im consistent with it as sometimes it gets boring.

I noticed if you want your brain to get functionally good at something, these healthy habits will only take you half way there. There are other mental models that you're not gonna learn from simply being healthy.
