Apps like this is something you planned to build but don't care for regardless of wealth potential...and you wished someone built it for you. It sucks that this took almost a decade (usually have to wait 3, 5, 10 years if you wait for someone else to build it) but glad someone decided to do it!

Thank goodness...and hopefully more competitors (choices) to come in the future. Good luck!

I've always wondered about the timing when population control was first implemented, and their intent.

1. Did population control allow Han Chinese/CCP to maintain their dominance in size over the growing minorities who were largely still living the agrarian lifestyle? 2. Minorities' would have their growth exponentially reduced over a hundred year. 3. And by increasing it now, Han Chinese can now exponentially grow again with momentum over minorities.

So in the background, it seems there's more than meet the eye to maintain Han Chinese power over other minorities in the country.Similar to Japanese (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ainu_people) and other "race"; same strategy and intent, different tactic.

irrelevant but i remember a week ago someone on here said that books nowadays are written with the assumption that you would be in front of a computer to try the examples out. but decades ago, you read books in the evening and then come morning, you get to try out the code at the lab. authors today crammed so much in book than necessary.

i wonder if cs unplugged is better than godot gaming for teaching 8-10 year olds how to think and code.

what about zoho? i use it for business but is it viable and friendly for non-tech literate families? I simply connect zoho to thunderbird.

It's fascinating to see a white or black person make it big in an Asian country; in the startup sense, does this mean their ethnic and skin color became their USP and advantage? The same thing I've seen happen when a black or white person show up in talk shows in S. Korea, Japan, and China. Oh, let's not forget Jonny Olsen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNm7k2PUGzI =)

The saying goes, you're only limited by your thinking 〰️ think big!

It made billions for companies. The rule of thumb is to start off "legal", build a big audience with huge benefits to the companies you're burrowing the data from, then quickly shift to legal. If you're not fast enough, you're dead. Web scraping and crawling has become less acceptable because the market leaders carved out the niches before you in a very "legal" way, and DO NOT want you as a competitor.

Right. AFAIK, China is unlike Japan, UK, or USA. To operate with similar economic structure and policies will be suicide to a country as big as China where millions of people are still farmers and villagers and way under poverty level. We have to look at competition too. It seems China wants to develop a mature marketplace, so native companies have room to compete with the outside world. Else, there wouldn't be a Baidu, Youku, or JD.

Who was it that said "comparison" is the source of all evil? Everyone gets caught up in it. What to do that works for me is to practice gratitude and feel inspired from people ahead of me regardless of age. They might just end up as a boss, friend, partner, lover, savior.

As a tech illiterate, what makes DAT superior to the standard p2p and blockchain technology? If my understanding is wrong, can someone explain in laymen term why DAT matters for the future?

Firefox Preview is dope. Hot off the shelf, and it's as swift as a fox. Maybe hopeful but I feel this browser is on fire. Now just need to work on the ux like the button for `read` mode. Bye, G.

What?! If I don't know about it, just imagine how many "average" people like me who are out of the loop when it comes to ocean animals. How can the world powers come together to sign a ban on this? This is awful.

Opinion vs opinion driven by marketing. At the end of the day, the mom who chose to breast feed her baby using formula will argue that breast milk lack essential nutrients as opposed to scientifically researched formula and and the cross-fit practitioner will tell you their regime is safe and sound for the human body. Who wins at the end of the day? Me. The one selling you the dream with frequently purchased items such as products and services to improve your chosen lifestyle.

Solution? Build a family that consists of blood relation and friends that are not fickle like your aunt Judy. People who can show genuine support and encouragement when you talk to them about life. If the "family" doesn't show goodwill, boot them. You want absolute loyalty. Fuck high school drama.

Otherwise, you will grow old, grumpy and lonely like your uncle Jerry. Mom and dad are dead; best friend settled down with a family; old Henry broke off with you; and a trip to the Land of Smiles isn't so happy anymore when no one visits you, but elementary kids during their field trips to your retirement home.

Jokes aside, have a family or don't. People like me are the real winners...you're just a by-product of our secret marketing. With that said, how do you feel about our latest product we know can improve your lifestyle immediately without any side effects in less than 7 days for as little as $0.25 a day (ps: your friend probably uses it too, no wonder he's always better than you).
