The major problem is that I understand all the words. It is all next version of the technology we already have and know. Down to the naming.

Think about 10 years ago. No one knows even on HN what is an agent, LLM, and all this stuff. Or to be fair even why is Trump showing up on the feed at all.

It has to be more confusing to be real.

I remember light used to be much paler and became brighter around the 2010. just go drive in an old car (20+ years) and a new car.

You are right also especially that there is a good side to it: in countryside roads you will able to see pedestrians/bicycles that don't use refractory lights better. Surely you are blinding everyone else.

I started dabbling in web game design as a fun project when all the LLM assisted tools came out because the friction in not knowing threejs and JavaScript was mostly gone. I built a small sailing game called vibesail.com that works on the browser for free.

This project with this tiny planet is amazing. So well designed, such a nice cute little world. Makes me want to cry.

I am so far away...

I made this browser sailing simulator over the last few days with the aid of various llm tools. Cursor and replit.

I am not an expert sailor but I have taken a license and went out some dozen times.

It is surprising how few vectors can create a reasonably realistic simulator of sailing. The wind push the sail based on the angle of the sail. The sail creates a vector that is decomposed on 2 vectors (forward and perpendicular to forward). These are the acceleration vector and the side leaning angle. Then you add a drag that in this case is some function to the cube of the speed.

I think playing this make the physics behind sailing more understandable.

P.S. I have almost zero following on Twitter but got retweeted by Replit's very own Amjad Masad https://x.com/amasad/status/1895055366817489131

Furthermore, where a worker does not meet a condition to earn a particular aspect of their expected compensation, like a prerequisite for a bonus, the Commission would still consider the arrangement “garden leave” that is not a non-compete clause under this final rule even if the employer did not pay the bonus or other expected compensation

I think TC is not included, will still get a base, but benefits seems to be included

With respect to garden leave agreements, as noted previously, commenters used the term “garden leave” to refer to a wide variety of agreements. The Commission declines to opine on how the definition of non-compete clause in § 910.1 would apply in every potential factual scenario. However, the Commission notes that an agreement whereby the worker is still employed and receiving the same total annual compensation and benefits on a pro rata basis would not be a non-compete clause under the definition,350 because such an agreement is not a post-employment restriction. Instead, the worker continues to be employed, even though the worker’s job duties or access to colleagues or the workplace may be significantly or entirely curtailed.
