S3 was just for me to do an initial prototype. Longer term was going to try with the C3, though I'm open to suggestions :)

I'm 38 and just wanted to comment my experience matches your comment here. I'm probably 20x or more productive now than I was when I first started. Experience does indeed help productivity (to a point).

This was a game changer for me as well. Set my alarm to go to sleep, not to wake up (though i set that too in case i accidentally oversleep on an important day)

I find my body gets into a natural rythm. And 8 hours of solid sleep makes my mornings so much more productive.

^ bingo. This is exactly how it's framed in my mind. Mostly it's the same work (In concept. Though it's infinitely more complicated now), just the verbage has changed.

This is pretty interesting to read through. I'm aware of a thing called "ERISA" , where (I think) there's law forbidding termination before vesting (retirement funds though).

Are there any similar legal protections in place to prevent termination based _solely_ on equity vesting?

And to all the comments here saying to just walk away and keep your peace; ie - just take it as a learning lesson. Which learning lesson is that exactly? Sounds to me like this is a pretty typical situation we engineers can get ourselves into. What other protections (learning lessons) could they have done to mitigate what's happening here?

Congrats! Posts like this give me massive inspiration. Like many here, I have tons of side project/toy apps stored in private repo's; that will probably never see use by anyone other than myself. However, some of this code _does_ make me profit (trading bots). Been contemplating taking portions of my trading app and generalizing into a product, but always seem to lose motivation.

Glad I saw this post + thread today, y'all just gave me another boost of energy.
