This is usually because the default scroll position of a conversation is at the bottom rather than the top so it significantly simplifies scrolling logic (which can get pretty complex).

I am surprised they are using a table view rather than a collection view for this though.

I think it's fair to say storyboards haven't improved much since then, although it's a fairly divisive topic.

Personally I still very much fall on the side of not using storyboards for non-trivial UI.

Interesting work, thanks for sharing.

The input field is subview of the keyboard’s window. This is likely undesirable, especially for chat applications.
I am curious as to why this is undesirable. It makes sense to me that something docked to the keyboard would be in the same window.

It seems the crap HTML is intentional. From a comment in the html:

<!-- And you can even code like it's 1995 and modern browsers will eat that HTML up for breakfast! High five Costanza. ...

I had the exact same experience while taking swimming lessons as a young child in the west of Ireland. The instructor just chucked me in. She still works there.

I didn't swim for years afterwards but eventually went back to lessons when I was around 12. Strangely enough, I now love the sea. I am an avid surfer and scuba diver.

Popcorn Time previously just showed open domain films in the screen shots. The new one has pictures Game of Thrones and company. It looks like they have stopped pretending this is not for piracy.

edit: clarification
