Could you please give a single, credible source that explains how public money was spent to get the Guardian and The New York Times to publish separatist propaganda?
For perspective: the Catalan Government's spending has for a while been put under the microscope by a Spanish government that is more interested in jailing political leaders than solving a political problem. Hence that kind of spending is unlikely to say the least.
I don't think many Spaniards would feel exploited on the higher end of the bracket. Salaries in Spain are not in sync with those in SV (neither is the VC scene), and Barcelona does have a lot to offer in quality of life.
Thanks for the feedback, though, it's always useful to get a honest reaction. I'll keep it in mind.

Thanks for your interest. We haven't opensourced any parts of the system so far, and have no plans to do so, at least for a while.
