My advice would be to build with what you know.
Even if you need to really shoehorn a component of the system in, just make a note about it and keep building. When you're done, you can go back and focus on replacing that one piece.
My view is that you learn a lot through the process of building this way.
are you concerned about something like a fire destroying all the copies?
They should also display something indicating it is not verified when it is not
I really wish phones would change the UI to make it more obvious that caller ID shouldn't be trusted.
https://rekt.news/ is a similar one that is fun to read
Braintree is also a town near Boston in the United States:
what do you put in your Makefile?
who is left on your list?
Sansa Clip 1 GB from 2008 still going strong here. I use it to listen to podcasts with wired earbuds while going on walks.
I love the physical buttons and simple lcd screen for status.
I do wish I had purchased one that accepted a microSD card like yours though.
Kindle is another example of a single-tasking device I enjoy using.
yeah, I had to submit an amended return because free fillable forms decided to discard a form and went through with the submission anyway :(
Can you elaborate?
I keep trying to click the logo to play a video :)
As someone whose desktop is showing its age and no longer games much, I'm curious about your build machine.
Do you have a physical build machine? Or in the cloud? And did you build it or order it from somewhere?
Base m1 macbook air sells for 800 bucks routinely. It's a great value in my opinion. I agree it's the best machine I have ever owned.
I submitted a png that said "I value my privacy and will not submit a photo of myself" with black text on a white background. My account was reinstated. Found it pretty funny.
Part of the appeal for me is not having to move my hand to the mouse and back.
What do you normally use? I'm curious what context you are comparing with.
Similar idea:
Discussing the letters in the passphrase is not the same as revealing it or discussing it. For N from 1 to the length of the word, write a random word that starts with the nth letter of the passphrase.
A few years ago I realized my days all kind of blurred together.
So I started journaling. I eventually built a good habit of doing it once a week. Every week, I read the previous entry and then write a new entry. Around the end of the year, I go back and read the whole year.
I prefer to use a physical journal with nice paper and a decent pen.
It has been very transformative for me. I write about my experiences and I write about what I read. I also write about what changes I want to make, and reflect on how changes I wanted to make are going.
Reviewing my thoughts in this way has led me 1) to be more forgiving of myself, focusing more on growth instead of failure and 2) to make incremental progress on objectives I have.
I purchased a few solo key 2s but have ended up pretty disappointed. Keys ended up being delivered with bent usb connectors which worries me that they will break prematurely.
And the documentation, at least when I received the keys, felt incomplete and hard to find; it did not give me confidence in the product.
I still use them as a backup key, but I decided to just by two yubikeys as my main keys.
https://rekt.news/ is similar and generally does a good job of explaining the "how"
One of our team members has gotten into the habit of pointing out that “you can do this in Postgres” whenever we do some kind of system design or talk about implementing a new feature. So much so that it’s kind of become a meme at the company.
love it
any good resources you recommend to someone who is a software person not living in embedded world?
and have already removed your authorization with the Bank directly
Can you expand on what you mean by this?
My banks don't offer me some way to revoke authorization from the bank's website. Does this mean calling customer service and giving them a business name to disallow future ach debits from?
Is this still the case?
I came across this blog post about a similar offer: https://blog.cloudflare.com/making-phishing-defense-seamless...
but it now states:
UPDATE: This offer expired on January 3rd, 2023 at 8am PST.
what eng message boards did you post to?
I agree. I built a journaling habit by scheduling time for it every week. Sometimes I just don't feel like it and scribble something down. But sometimes even when I start with just a scribble, I keep going and it helps me to think through thoughts in my head.
Thanks for sharing your project. Can you speak a little about what kind of AI you are using?
Might depend on what you eat but when I first started flossing, the gunk that I saw being removed was enough to convince me that flossing was a good idea.
It may depend a lot on the tightness between your teeth, for example, how beneficial it is?
