For those of you not on Keybase yet, here's the most important piece of information in the post:

The difference is one has a dedicated security team and the other does not.

I'm slightly concerned about routing my traffic through a non-major player in Anycast when I don't control the routing or software. I'd be worried it's quite an easy target for someone to do some DNS hijacking or packet sniffing.

There's a certain level of trust when I use 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8. I'm unwilling to take the risk for this solution. I'm not sure what would help in the trust department to legitimize a solution like this.

I would bet on too much screen time for the whole family; seen it first hand. Parents sitting on their devices all evening and not interacting with their children. It's a missed opportunity for learning, especially at a young age.

My two major gripes are that it's first hitting the UK market and it has liquidation fees associated.

I agree with the premise that we shouldn't need to convert to fiat but unfortunately we have to follow the pace of adoption. You could create a POS device tied to a service that accepts crypto-only via chip and pin or magnetic for the business. I'm doubtful many businesses are hearing from their customers that they want crypto only payments, however.

I'm honestly surprised it's not ridden with ICOs like my Facebook sponsored post feed these days.

My theory is that these tunnels are truly being built to support the Hyper Loop. It's only a matter of time before they acquire one of the companies that did all of the R&D work.

Traveling internationally isn't uncommon and is becoming more commonplace with advances in air travel. I'd rather not be subjected to an invasion of privacy while on vacation.

Maybe you don't mind about this specific invasion of privacy, but you should be extremely mindful of setting a precedent for future laws. When does it end? What will they be forcing you to do in the next couple of years? What will our children have to endure?

I had previously tried both the Aeron as well as the Steelcase Leap 2 for an extended period (+1w) and found I preferred the Steelcase. I purchased one for myself and one for my wife.

It's common to find these gently used on Craigslist for around $200 if you live in a populated area. That's where I got mine. I was able to pick any two from a lot of 20+.

My guess is Amazon wants to rope people into their ecosystem, and they've recognized that many startups have opted for the cheaper VPS providers in their bootstrap days.

This is an intriguing move and one that I'm sure DigitalOcean, Linode, and Vultr have been fearing may happen.

The pricing is on par with these alternatives in the VPS space.

One of Twitter's problem is not properly controlling their feed. I never use their mobile or web client. I solely use a highly customized Tweetdeck. With this experience, I never once see an advertisement. That's a huge loss for Twitter.

Perhaps it's just me, but I wouldn't have a problem seeing advertisements in my Tweetdeck feed if it meant they'd remain successful. I'd much rather see Twitter succeed as it's the only platform I use to keep up with thousands of professionals and news sources. It's entirely a different experience than Facebook.

I think the Twitter community should suck it up and accept the fact that they get served a couple of advertisements in order to support a news service and contend delivery network unlike any other in existence.
