Having it plugged into a security camera would be amazing though. It could alert you when your dog is bored and wants to go out to play for example :) or if it's feeling sick and needs to go to the vet :(

Why not position it as an accident avoidance system?

Most accidents occur due to distracted drivers. A self braking car preventing drivers from rear ending other cars can easily be justified as a good investment. Having something like this to "upgrade" any car to a better safety system makes more sense to me from a marketing standpoint.

Ricardo Semler's is indeed a true visionary, he started applying the principles of democracy and trust to industrial production decades ago, his first book Maverick[1] was written in 1995, it is full of interesting anecdotes on how he implemented his ideas in his father's business. I find his methods very similar to what is now being called Holocracy [2].

when i first read Saramago [1], i was impressed how he wrote with no punctuation or even capital letters, and how enjoyable and easy to read it was, it was definitely a breath of fresh air, only a few times it was hard to follow the story, mainly on dialogues i sometimes got lost who was saying what, overall his writing style made reading his novels a lot of fun, my feeling was more like listening to someone tell me a story directly, rather than having to get hold of the rhythm and style of the writer.

I think the debate is much more complicated. I would start by analyzing the various dimensions that property can have.

Let's list some:

- Non property vs property. Religion vs. patents.

- Public property vs Private property. Rain vs. bottled water.

- Intellectual property vs Physical property. A song vs. a gong.

Any other dimensions you can think of?

I would love to have an Exec for tasks inside my company. The money would be drawn from a company´s bank account. Sort of like internal bounties perhaps. Maybe even complementing salaries, I don´t know. Thoughts?
