No, no, no. Don't work for free. Apprentices don't work for free in any other industry. Why should you work for free?

Go out and get a job that trains you to be "production ready." You will get to to work on bigger projects, "code, refactor", and do "grunt work". Plus you will get paid.

Nothing wrong with seeking an apprenticeship. I just don't understand why you would think that "free" is a good idea.

I don't think that's the same thing. If Microsoft came out with a newer version of silverlight, you'd expect it to keep reading the old files.

The fact they canceled silverlight and won't make a new version, doesn't have much to do with backwards compatibility.

I think that the lawyers suing for class action status use one (or a few people) as their "examples" of people harmed by the complaint. Those people may make some money... You may just need to get into your class action suits much earlier...

I have always been a fan of the idea of splitting up California: More senators means more people looking out for my interests (relatively). I'm always jealous of those little states who have 2 senators, but are smaller than San Diego county: Alaska, Wyoming, etc.

Shoot, Puerto Rico's population is bigger than 22 states, and those Puerto-rican US citizens don't even have senators.

In general, it seems like more amnesty's and pardon's are a good idea. Considering the US has hundreds (?) of times as many people as we did at the founding, we probably don't pardon as many people (relatively) as the founders did.

Based on parent comments, you're ok with the government knowing WHO/WHEN you call someone. But you have a beef with the government knowing WHERE you called from?

And your basis for that is that they've always been able to collect WHO/WHEN, but WHERE is different because it's new?
