Thanks for sharing. I went through a similar process recently, manually stitching together fire insurance maps from my hometown. A large part of the business district burned down in 1916, but maps from a couple of years earlier survived. It worked, but it was tedious. This would have saved a lot of time. Pretty cool stuff, can this be easily used to augment videos with translated subtitles? And if so, I'm assuming it would be fast enough to do so in real-time?

Pretty cool application. Exactly how accurate is the AR + Lidar combo when it comes to fitting? For example, if you 3D print a car part after sizing it in 3D, does the printed product match up?

Thanks! Unfortunately it is currently limited to DRM-free video streams, since the app needs direct access to the video frame in order read the pixels. But in general you should be able to set the ?v= param to other sources.

Author here! Side projects be can quite therapeutic during these troubling times. This is an app I've really enjoyed tinkering with off and on over the past few months and am now happy to share it with others. The app includes sample videos along with a settings menu that allows the visualization to be changed on-the-fly. Looking forward to any feedback so can hopefully take it further. Hope you enjoy!
