Yes its hard work & time taking to nurture them. I am from India, we have government funded nurseries here, they are affordable, but they do not provide very good plants. Growing seeds to 2-3 feet plant (which are ready to be planted to the land) takes between 1 to 2 years. If this process can be streamlined with some technology. A lot of effort can be saved.

I dont wanna be rude. But if you cant find words to talk for 2 minutes every 2 days, you are very disconnected.

I totally agree with you. I have made ddg my default search on browser but many times I end up Googling. It has increased the time to get the final answere to 1.5 times atleast.

This happened to me a year back. Turned out there was an issue with SATA cable connecting SSD. Replacing the cable resolved it. Saying just in case!

There could also be an issue with your SSD or HDD. To come to a conclusion try putting your SSD to another MB and see wheres the issue

Recently, I started using Firefox plugin NoSript which stops javascript execution on random websites. It makes browsing little better.

I started using it when I found out one tab was eating 2GB of RAM. I think in todays world its very important that you allow only selected trusted websites to run Javascript!

I wish we lived little less, resulting in, less knowledge transfer, less technology, less of the destruction caused by humans on nature.

We live longer than most of the creatures of our size, and we have larger brain. That's the reason of the damage we create to the earth like swarms of locusts do to the green grass fields [1].

And still we wish more life! Sad!

Go channels are very handy and magnitude of less spaghetti than futures. And goroutines have good performance.

I think people are used to futures etc, that's why the new concept feels strange.

I think the goroutines and channels are the biggest features which compensates for generics.

Over the past few months I have been trying to figure out a solution for environmental issues in developing countries (like India where I'm from). Conclusion is, because of the democracy, the change is not possible from inside, some external force has to be there.

Here governments take decision for the short term because they have to please the common (& uneducated) men for the next election. Hence the agenda of environment doesn't get much attention. That's why have poor plastic management.

Educating people about these issues will take decades (& it will be too late). Only way forward could be if some constant external pressure is put on their governments using agreements/accords (like Paris Agreement) and some system is setup which will monitor issues like plastic management and carbon-emission. If countries are not following some standard they should be penalized.

Countries like US, Canada, Germany can take initiatives in doing so. Its not only about their carbon-emission & plastic-management, its about the whole planet.

Developing countries should be pressurized(!!) for reducing their population as well. In India, from past 2 decades, no government had an agenda to control population (which is the root of all the problems here). With some external pressure this could also be done I guess.

And most importantly, large & impactful countries like US and China shouldn't waste their time on petty issues like trade-war & focus on big issue here!

May be plan is to learn a few things about running e-commerce business from FK. US and Indian market differs a lot, but combined Walmart and FK can tackle that I guess.

Flipkart is head-on competition with amazon in India. And Walmart want to do the same in US. So what is your confusion? Wallmart can definitely apply the tech from FK to US market.

You have a good point but only stopping two-stroke engines is not going to help. Single person car driving is a big problem and cab sharing is still premature. I think these are by-products of the poor public transport. Major cities don't have fully connected subway system, inter-city public transport is even worse, be it railways (sigh!) or public buses.

Other bigger factors to pollution are industries and electricity production. Curbing pollution is not possible if country/states are not very concerned about it, be it regulating the industries, making better public transport or focusing on renewable energy. Problem is, some of the leaders are focused on politics and others care only about growth and economics. They don't even think that pollution is a real issue. And those who care and think about it, are not allowed to live and do their work!

I applaud EU countries of being so considerate about pollution and climate change, be it renewable energy, pollution control by traffic and other industries. On the other hand we have my country India where in budget 2018, not much attention is given to any of these matters.

There's always a primary purpose and secondary purpose. This might be the second.

You are so misinterpreting the world. There are people who only review when they are facing an issue, and if they are happy they think there's no need of review because they got what they paid for. I wouldn't judge a customer as having abusive nature even if he has 100% negative reviews..
