I though the lesson from the iphone's success was that a product with less features, easier to use and more integrated make great products. With that reasoning plug-in hybrids are the future, although I'm personally rooting for pure electric to win in the end.

A switch to arm would be easily justifiable if it was the only road to fan-less macs and apple controlling the processor development, but intel has made huge strides in power efficiencies lately as well as opening up the possibility for using intel IP in SoC's. And isn't the ipad already a mac with an arm processor?

I am trying to imagine a building sized cylinder appearing and dissapearing throughout the day in my neighbourhood, on a regular basis. Seems kind of cool to me.

When the national secuity agency was told they started their own investigation on the following day, it may not say much but they had the opportunity to admit ownership and they didn't, which points in the directon of illegal activities.

I would love to read this article in a shorter, more concice format. From the paragraphs I read the author spends most of his time trying to describe the common (mis)conceptions held by a layman in advertising by giving numerous citations and examples, which is weird and repetitive when his argument is that we already know and hold the assumptions.
