I’ve had a lot of success with world of books[1] for out of print stuff recently. Afaik still not owned by Amazon.
Cob is a perfectly viable construction method. Why should it signify a lack of sophistication or culture. Did England lack culture and sophistication because we did ( and still do) build houses from mud and straw?
they do mundane things and they are perfectly happy with their lives.
Aspirational.
9am meeting - would you a) fly the day before and stay in a hotel? or b) travel be train overnight?
I'd take the train.
yeah, we're all guilty of not supporting side projects. I'm interested because I'd like use the app - if it is going for a rebrand then I'd like to know and grab a copy.
As for splash - maybe you'd like to suggest a more appropriate term? It was a popular post for a few days.
10 week sabbatical - dare dream bigger, imagine a 52 week sabbatical </snark>
OR.. should they be in TAI? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Atomic_Time
Dartmoor national park has its own bylaws regarding camping. It’s fine for up to 48hours. I’m guessing other bylaws for private property- and of course the MOD land.

Not really suprising that there wasn't a checklist, a DP3(GPS, backup and failsafe)ship shouldn't ever suffer DP run off. Then it did. So now I suspect there are actually checklists.
Yes, many recreational sailors will listen to this. Although GRIBs or other data is available this is a forecast from forecasters rather then model data. The same information is broadcast on VHF working channels at a similar time. It's also broadcast on longwave radio so available further out to sea then FM.
Surely the point of an experiment is to run it. Observe the results. Then change things in the next run.
You need a better differentiation between skills - this is very web orientated at the moment. If I'm a native mobile developer is that full stack? Backend?
There also needs to be a bigger range of languages. Alternative contact details would be nice, or, links to other profiles and the option not to show the email address.
Shame about the name
I found the link to bootstrapped forums very helpful, thanks.
Definitely something I'd be interested in also, but sadly seems to be struggling with the load.
What terrible UI on that website. I think in 2014 we know how to scroll already and don't need a full page pop-over to explain it.
Good point, I'll make a ticket on the git hub so I don't forget.
By encoding the original URL in the key you can look up to see if a URL has been shortened already, and serve that.
Thanks for the info re scan I'll have a look and check my version of redis.
Yep, I've noticed that sorry to propagate a trend that isn't the best. I think it's because you can do quite a lot in an afternoon with Go especially if your learning, like me.
Cheers, I knew it wasn't very "go like" at the time. Will go and tidy it up at the weekend.
It did, it's back up, I will. Thanks
Which isn't even a law.
Explains why it's all going wrong this week then.
The paper is being released later this week by the look of it.
The population of Cote d'Ivoire is 20 million, Orange have released data from 5 million customers nationwide and they are one of 6 mobile phone operators. That suggests that mobile penetration is quite high in Cote d'Ivoire. Go to Abidjan and you'd see empirical evidence to support this theory too.
Cote d'Ivoire is a comparatively prosperous country in West Africa.
Maybe it was a twix duo. Can we have a followup post?
Ironically it's published on a site that doesn't have an RSS feed (or atom, remember that debate) published. which is a shame really as the content on medium is usually pretty good but I'll hardly ever remember to go back on a regular basis.
